Your best bet is look for it on Jp yahoo auction that’s were I found mine Jp shopping mall is also able to locate items in Aki and through out Tokyo
Hey guys I just received my Hyperstick in the post and from viewing pictures I gathered that the plastic body color was more of a lighter shade of blue closer to the standard light Sanwa blue. As it turns out it is almost an exact match to the Dark blue Sanwa color (purplish) I just wanted to confirm this form individuals who own the hyperstick. I just want make sure I do not have some sort of color variation I did notice that when I used the flash when taking some other photo it did throw the color off so thats what I think it might be thanks guys

Yeah, HyperStick is Sanwa “dark blue”.
Thanks for the input I thought that was the issue its crazy how the light make the blue look completely opposite shade of blue. Does anyone know if the shirts that NRK is selling are closer to sanwa dark blue/purple-esk or light blue as they appear from photo’s

Not sure why I’m posting this here, this thread is pretty damn old. Anyway, I recently missed out on this> http://www.ebay.com/itm/190576757022?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_2802wt_1071 auction, that I believe had both a non-working Namco stick and a non-working hyperstick. I’m really mad at myself for forgetting about it, can anybody here verify for me if the blue stick is indeed a Hyper Stick?
That was quite the catch for whoever got that.
I’m pretty sure thats a namco in the box but thats not a hyperstick maybe its the hori stick that looks like it
the cord jack is different and the cord it self is different hypersticks were not even sold in the states but either way its a good deal just for the namco
I happen to have one of these, as I’m a huge Otomedius fan.
The original Hyperstick logo isn’t on it.
The only change in that picture over stock, is I have removed the shaft cover. Seriously, who likes those things.
Fully Sanwa out of the box. Only has 4 buttons from the get go obviously, but there are solder points that do work for buttons 5 and 6 inside the case. I’m actually in bad need of repair parts for mine, the USB cable failed and so did the headset jack. Mine is in rough shape, but it’s seen a lot of love, and a lot more game time. I probably have something like 500 hours on Otomedius G.
the 4 button layout sucks for almost everything that isn’t a shooter (and for SIE XBLA, which is technically a shooter) which is why I also own a TE-S, but I wouldn’t say the stick doesn’t live up to it’s name. It’s a durable beast, and has some pretty significant weight to it. Although I’ll say this, I’m kinda glad it’s Sanwa out of the box, but that was likely done for accuracy to the e-Amusement cabinet (Hint: Otomedius Arcade runs in the e-Amusement cabinet), which is Sanwa stock.
Having seen shafts rusted to hell and back due to sweat and shizz, I’d say shaft covers are a necessity.
P.S. Take out that image quote of I’ll have to infract.
