I wonder about this too. I have a Fighting Stick PS and SS, and they definitely have super crappy Hori parts. I’m curious about what’s inside the original Fighting Stick for Super Famicom, though. Does anyone know?
jap-sai is pretty awesome for older stuff that you’d never find on Play-Asia or the like.
All I posted about Hori Fighting Stick for SFC was that the Buttons use TKC MM9-2.
And that the Buttons are in the style of the Namco.
As in they are like Seimitsu PS-14-G, but with the smaller Microswitch that can be swapped for Sanwa SW-68.
I also have a Hori SS stick, NRX or JDM do you know if the hyperstick Seimitsu would fit as far as having the right height?
If not im probably better off giving the case and pcb to the next guy for almost nothing because everyone says that modding that stick is a job and a half(and the layout isnt that great, but i really dont care about the layout).
Since it mounts flush to the panel, putting the Hyperstick LS-56-01 in a Fighting Stick SS case would have the proper height, or extremely close to it.
