hey fiol… do u have any videos of maybe NO chizuru/iori/choi/chang? like how about some clark/shermie/goro/beni/robert/kensou/leona vids? seriously what’s wrong with kof players…? they hardly ever even touch A tiers… it’s like without S tier the higher level match play is a no no… and 80% of the time when i do get lucky and watch a B or C tier being used …they suck…

because,especialy in kof97, as i wrote u on mp some months ago, the chars more used in China are those S tiers.
Not so many ppl use “low” tiers there… in some videos i uploaded there are some Terry (a good one btw) and Yamazaki.
Tmr i’m gonna upload (only 18min) a tourney held in china only for kof 97 where u can also see a Benimaru player ^^

kof maximum impact… terrible… and 97 is great to me because it’s my first kof… i admit at high level play 97 is very one sided… like top-tiers disgustingly rape anyone else… but i played this game at casual level… without much worry about omg this character is top-tier and this one isn’t… so instead of stressing myself out i had the most fun playing any kof game to date…

now that i’m actually playing kofxi seriously i think it is the best kof yet… just cause it’s soo much fun and the tag system makes the battles soo much more intense… but back to 97… it still holds a very high value to me… and i know that 98 is a purified version of 97 with most of the broken stuff taken out but it just doesn’t feel the same and thus 97 is still greater to ME…

I argee. KOF 97 was my first game and from there, I became a KOF fan. When I was little, I hated facing Orchi cause I could never beat him, but still, KOF 97 is my first and favorite game of the series.

awesome matches… thx fiol… to me watching an entertaining fighting game video is not about how good top players are… but to see how well all the characters in the game can be used against each other… i want to see the 2 players minds at battle, not top-tier characters spam against low tiers… most importantly to see a character being used at it’s fullest capability… because i believe at the highest level of matches tiers don’t exist…

97 is a good game. This is the game that made me give up marvel vs capcom. I remember downloading it and loving the graphics, and once I learned the engine i was sold to kof period.

i didnt know that Clark could combo jA,cA,hcfB/D … i need to try it out!

Dude that is the tip of the iceberg. Clark like all other grab characters can combo his grabs from light attacks so long as you are still in grab range or the opponent isn’t in block stun.

For example Clark can combo things like cr.B cr.A HCBx2+p the one you mentioned and variations of it. Hell he can even combo a running three in the hands of an expert. The more range on the grab the more light hits you can combo until you are out of command grab range. This is always a good bit of knowledge to know It wouldn’t be smart to do the same thing over and over.:nunchuck:

yeah i tried it yesterday and it works but i can’t make it work on KOF98…well doesnt bother me that much…anyway i ve never tried cA or cB before on kof>94 xD dunno why lol

Well just keep trying because I know it works in 98 too. Just trust me grab characters have this capability and this makes Kof even more awesome. Also to note the combos with light attacks take up just as much damage as fierce attack combos.

Is Yamazaki’s infinite (or all of them) banned in China? I’ve never seen someone go for it, and consider you can combo into it off strong and weak attacks it should be pretty commonplace.

I don’t see people on GGPO doing it either, even with the same players playing Orochi characters. Not sure why.

as far as i know no bugs and infinities are allowed in a tourney
