At 11s into the vid befor egoing for rekkas it looks like she goes from st C into a command normal before going into rekkas. It’s possible that the command normal may be an overhead if the animation is anything to go by.
Also it looks like she combos something like a close st. D into her upkicks at 15s into the vid. The normal would be a pretty good anti air for regular jump ins. *

I said Japanese or Afro Brazilians don’t have to fight to be considered “Brazilians”. Their ethnic background is evident but everyone there takes pride in being Brazilian.
Trust me, I know all about the idea of “advancing the race” in Brazil, which means marrying white so that in a couple generations there are no more black people in your family. Hell, thats prevalent all over Latin America and the Spanish-speaking Caribbean countries. What I’m talking about is people literally denying you your nationality because you aren’t white.
Your response of the Pakistani boy speaks to my point. Of course you can’t say he’s not American; he was born and raised here. That makes the commonly used insult of claiming someone isn’t “American” because they’re a minority rather stupid. Yet that’s something you’d practically never hear said to a white person. Why? Because the picture of an American in the US is a white person.
Regardless of the fact that no one but Native Americans are indigenous to this country, white people are a poster of what an American is suppose to look like and you’re not really American if you aren’t.
Would be awesome for them to announce something and / or make an official appearance at Evo with an announcement. SNKP are getting real serious with this game (official Tweets, official Twitch, weekly characters announcements, 50 characters on launch, updating textures and graphics as they go).
This isn’t like the SNK of old, as good as their games were, their marketing and community management was not there. Where you’d enter a loketest, fill in a form and report imbalance (something they actually ask), bug or exploit, only for it to stay (like what happened in KOF97 with the infinites, KOF2003 with Duo Lon or SvC). They’ve got their house set up properly now.
I said before that muimui was the antihype character of the game, but after watching this trailer I gotta say im a little hype for her. I’m glad they updated her desing and dint go for the pachinko look, also looks like she has a fun play style.
Kukri looks awesome though. He turned out way better than Tremor did. His sand animations are great, but his attack animations still look off, especially that ground double kick thing.

So I have a theory about SNK’s strategy with this games marketing. I think they will do teaser trailers until the whole cast is revealed. Then around E3 or the Tokyo game show they’ll do a full proper trailer only this time they’ll show the completed product.

Now that they got that Chinese money behind them they need to be going real hard in the marketing and community management department.
They most certainly need to be trying to get some kind of presentation at EVO; you can’t do any better than the biggest FG tournament in the world when you’re talking about trying actively push yourself as THE premier fighting game dev.
Lin, Ron, Duo Lon, and gang (probably not Xiao Lon), you can tell there’s actual effort putting into them. They look unique, and they move unique. Mui Mui doesn’t show that level of creativity.
