I never said there wasn’t racism in Brazil, it’s just is not really that simple. I’d argue is more of a social class and income inequality than skin color problem. You can’t say it’s a minority when people of darker skin tone are actually a majority of the population, “white people” are pretty rare depending on the part of country and people of african heritage are not really common on the southern region. And of course there are crazy people here. Violence numbers are pretty high and allied to the demographic of the lower social classes, it only worsen the problem. I could get killed on Rio in a robbery just because I stopped my car in a traffic light at the wrong time. Last year I remember a bunch of self proclaimed neo-nazis skinheads that were arrested after killing someone for being black or gay(can’t remember, could be both) and when you see the group, you would just see a bunch of typical hispanic people. I can’t even fathom what pass through these people heads. But basically, if you have money, be it tourist or local, you’ll be fine.
But if you ever come to Brazil be it black or white, you’ll be labelled as a gringo just for the way you act and dress. Asian as japa/china(self explanatory), tall, white blonde european as “alemão”(german) and hispanic probably for the country that the person came from. It doesn’t mean people hate foreigns, they are very friendly and helpful.
As for the pakistani boy, if he was born and raised here, he would probably like parties and football like everybody and would be fine. He might be bullied in school but not the “american levels of bullying” that I see on the news and movies. That shit is just crazy.
She actually has a Kameha! I love this character. I don’t think any of the other newbs can win me over better than her(unless you count KoD as a newcomer. Which I don’t)
KoD isn’t a newcomer(if you ask me) because he is just Tizoc after a heel turn. Thus he isn’t in the running to be my favorite newcomer. But if he was, he would definitely be favorite. After all, he is my 4th favorite KoF character(behind Duck King, Vice, and Leona)
And as for my signature, I wrote that when the KoD was just revealed and SNK had labeled him a newcomer and so I wasn’t quite sure that it was actually Tizoc. And I just haven’t gotten around to changing it to KoD
