Yeah, people here tend to identify themselves by their places. Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo being the biggest cities have a big rivalry. As is the northeast and southeast regions. Maybe like USA’s East and West coasts. But for “looks” is more of what Ukio said. My friends call me of asian/japanese nicknames even if I don’t look in the slightest like one.

There’s a difference between identifying with a region and an ethnic group though.

People may identify from Rio or São Paulo, but you all still say you’re Brazilian right?

I mean people there love their Portuguese, Japanese, African, Indigenous roots etc., but at the end of the day you are all Brazilian.

The US’ entire history is built on immigration and yet there is still a sense of other or not actually being American if you’re a minority; that’s what I’m talking about

A Pakistani boy could be discriminated against as not being “American” even if he was born and raised here. He’s deemed “other” because he’s a minority.

I’d be confused if a Japanese or African-Brazilian experienced that given Brazil’s history.

I’m confused as to why you think a African-Brazilian or jap doesn’t face discrimination. There are shit head racist everywhere, that is not unique to the United States. In the US a Pakistani isn’t being discriminated against because he isn’t American, that discrimination comes from him not being white. If you think that only happens in the US I got some bad news for you.

Brazils history is ugly too, and they have serious issues today rooted in racism. This idea that America created the ignorant racist is stupid and extremely far from the truth. Everyone self Identifies with the area they grew up in or are from but we all know that is not what I am talking about.

I don’t live in Brazil nor have I ever been, but I have read countless articles about the problem there and how the Brazilian people are mostly in denial about about. It was a while since I read one particular article if I can find it I will post it here.

I can’t stand Bao, and the Pillow child is a CHILD, so I have basically no hope for it. Kula’s about the only ‘little kid’ character I can tolerate in KOF, but hey, she’s gotta be like 15-16 in this one, anyway.

Both of the characters that were announced just this recently…
Point completely proven on SNKP characters being awesome. Very well done. Lot’s of happy thoughts going through my head when concerning both the game play and the aesthetic appeal of these characters, along with the game itself.
Seeing things like this after waking up from a nap after work is liberating as hell!

no offense, im gonna get this game anyway but it honestly still looks very bad. good textures and smooth animation cant save poor art direction. it is definitely not an eyesore, but it just looks very uninspiring. There’s a thing called your limbic system that controls things in your brain like emotions and adrenaline and desires and so on. it’s what let’s you get excited and hype by all of the flashing lights and music and cool effects in games. kof 14 is like stale bread compared to
