Nope it’s that Japanese tournament with over 20 characters playable they’ve been hyping up. We have a definite number of characters now as well as some of the goodies they will have at the event for fans including actual fans.
This. No matter how many times people are clamoring for Rock, he’s not getting in the canonical KOF games. Period.
We’ll be lucky if we get Garou 2 or a second NeoGeo Battle Coliseum game, as those are the best chances for his appearance.

I wonder if SNK will start their own KOF leauge like the capcom pro tour. They would be smart to market this in South American countries too.

@SAB-CA it was actually done before, having a costume/skin with a different voice actor.
Tekken did it with Eddy/Tiger/Christie when they shared a character slot.
MKX Jax has a Predator themed skin looking like Carl weathers and is voiced by him as well.
Injustice Green Arrow has an “Arrow” skin voiced by the actor in the show.
Superman and Zod had the same thing with their MoS skins.
April 5th, I’m guessing the kof anime got delayed.
It could, yeah. I wonder if WE are thinking about this more than them at this point. Like… it’s TecmoKoei’s favorite thing, but for SNKP? They had some DLC for XII and XIII, but it never has been a major part of their strat. Will be interesting to see if this game starts a trend or not.
As Iconic as KoF threads are, it’d be weird to see them stick stuff in game like “Spring Festival Outfits” or “Comiket Cosplay Sets”, haha. But there has been art over the years for holidays and such… maybe some of that personality will make it in game.
nod All good points, but so few and far between! I’d love to see KoF make it a rule, rather than a rare exception. I was let down when Injustice did it for only a few skins, since they did some very elaborate things (like new cinematic win animations) for some of them.
Guilty Gear series also had different voice sets for characters, with different hit reaction voices, and special move callouts. Maybe they’ll be something similar here.
Voice Actors don’t come cheap. Especially not the ones Injustice was bringing in.
The Demo this week was out of the blue. Anyone know anything about GOOD_NEMO streams? Are they a known streamer?
Surely not, but it’s not impossible. Especially with WB funds. 50 chara cast aren’t cheap either, and every game needs to flex it’s money in different ways to make content appealing.
There could also be different tiers of DLC, just like DoA charges different for minor change costumes VS ones that have transformation / clothing destruction.

That’s Nemo, one of the best SF4 players.
He was the Rolento user most top players were scared shitless of.
Nemo’s background is in Guilty Gear and he was on a few high placing teams in Tougeki.
