I hope the leak is true; I really liked Geese, Mai, and Rock in CvS2, so I already have 2/3 of my team decided.

I hope not. When Flip Bucket started doing semi-original characters they were all terrible and actively ruined the game. The only reason that game ever worked was because they had blueprints from so many other characters and so many other games that they basically couldnāt fuck up. The more that game became its own thing the worse it got.
Jenet is older than him in Garou for sure. Hotaru I have no idea, because I have no idea how old Hotaru is in Garou. We do however know how old Terry is in both games and weāve seen Rock in KoF and heās 8 years old. Like I said before, unless thereās some crazy time travel bullshit, Rock is an actual child. Same with the Kim brothers. Either that or 14 is 10 years after the events of the NESTS Saga, and when Terry gets revealed he will confirm or deny that immediately.
I guess another thing to note is that after the events of 13, everything from 2003 onward does not exist, including XI, so XIII is basically a retcon of Wild Wolf Terry in 03 and XI and Garou Team in XI.

Just seen the article on the front page. If this game plays close to XIII, Iām in, even if the game was 8 bit shit.
My only true gripe with past KOFs was the stiffness of the sprites and how it kinda made the game flow and pace a lil cheesy, they totally fixed that with XIII/XII. Oddly enough, in MI too. But I never liked MI, besides all the costumes. And Iām not much of a stickler for characters, I could really care less, but a small part of me wants Venesa, Oswald, and Adelheid back in the mix. Itās gotten to the point where every new game I just fall back on a squad that consists of Kyo and Iori cuz I know they will be there, except when they kept Iori and change ever damn thing about him.

Vice and Mature possibly returning makes me wonder if thisāll actually be a Dream Match or an extension of the story.
Werenāt they basically ghosts in XIII? I know they seemingly vanished when Iori decided to keep his flames, but the ending just seemed odd. I love both characters, so Iād be happy having them back in XIV.
If they came back as ghosts once, they can do it again.
I wonder how will SNK plan to support the game post launch
