bs. most people value their hands than breaking them in the process of mastering a motion like raging storm to use in competitive fights.
and even the shortcut version is demented. the downforward after that half circle motions is so unnecessary and insane. just like back then when Cammy’s hooligan had an extra upforward to the half circle command. entire bs trolling gamers like that with stupid extra steps. meanwhile, all the mainstream fighters get their simply quarter circle, half circle motions, and don’t have to suffer the abuse of masochist command motions. and everyone knows most prefer gamepad and diagonals are a nightmare to do outside of quarter/half circle motions. those that defend things like pretzel motion just want companies to sell more of their arcade joysticks, which are a waste of money, IMO.
@affinity , it’s been many years but, why do you continue to post on a competitive fighting game forum when most of the stuff seems contradictory to any serious competitive fighting game discussion? This place doesn’t seem like a place for you, to be frankly honest.
Graphically there isn’t much difference. However the finer details are more present with KOFXIV and keep in mind this isn’t the final build. DOA5 is still a beautiful game, if KOFXIV is a slightly prettier DOA5 I’ll take it.
all this “is my charcter in?” stuff is nonsense. Can people not approach kof as if its new game? (which it is) some of you guys are being just as silly as those Pre GG XRD boys who like “Character x is’nt in this? not buying” My god what are you fighting game fans or fanboys? Im sure when New ip fightew comes out you guys don’t have this same tune.
anywho
Pretzle movement hard? I’m on pad so maybe its easy, but I can’t stand the Justice flash kick super or any super with ridiculous charge motions…
I wouldn’t put one over the other. They have two very different art styles so it’s hard to compare but I think as far as overall quality go’s, if say the models are equally good
I only like Gen Fu’s screen shot marginally more than Tung Fu Rue’s because of the lighting effects like the bloom. Tung Fu Rue’s lighting in his screen shot is kinda eh, but I think that’s because he’s in super flash and everything else around him darkness during it and he doesn’t really have the bloom.
So based on screen shots within their own contexts, I like Gen Fu’s more; but in reality, it’s not really fair to compare the two since what’s happening within the context of each game is different since there’s no super flash/screen freeze in DOA like there is in KOF.
I’ve seen the game lag offline disconnected from the internet entirely. If it’s a server problem, the game needs to know to stop trying to connect to the server when there is no internet connection to do so.
