why rush? Terry looks as great as they do now because they revealed them when their model and animations were presentable enough for someone that popular to reveal (they probably would look as bad as Andy first build if they were revealed in 2015). of course even super popular ones like Kyo are revealed early, but they had to do that, but with Mai and the others, they can wait until they are more representable and the developing of the graphics and stuff reach higher qualities.
KOFXIV is already showing some signs of improving visuals, so the longer they save those reveals, the better they will look, and the greater the first impressions.
as developing progresses the team is getting more experience that helps the qualities.
I’m not sure since I personally didn’t test each move in MAX mode, but each special I did did have an EX. I’m making the presumption that each special move will have an EX form. I just wouldn’t know how Angel will work unless they make non-chain-special moves the only ones that have EX like her qcb+P or her command throw.
I always though his command throw was design that way so it can work as reversal when being pressure. problem was majority of the case didn’t need to get close to him to begin with and sense he lacked a good anti air (the mashing special) Tung was rarly in position to use it effectively.
Its hard to gauge if character was good in RBFF2 because most of the top tier was their because of BS design. Its why top tier is pretty small and every one else is close even. The low tier are their just because they essentally lack certain tools but they can improvise.
I could see her having a power-up mode that gives all moves in a certain time EX-style properties, much like Heavy D!. Assuming they even keep her Unchained circle style of play completely intact; it’s not really the most intuitive system ever designed. I could see her turning out to be something like SFV’s take on Karin.
Aye, agreed. FFS had a lot of experimental oddities that many fighters would later refine or re-adapt (one of my favorites being jump normals that stayed out during the entire duration of a jump, I abuse this so much with Jubei’s J.LK), so I forgive them for having a few things that just didn’t work out. And the fact that this move basically became his DP-style move later in other games shows strong support for your theory.
