Well I think thats more or less just buffering or whatever it’s called. Its the same as if I was trying to do df+D xx qcf+D and I do :d::df:+D :f:+D instead
What Im asking is, is there any type of leniency where it would accept a bad input but count it as a good one. Like I do my dps by doing :f::df::d::df::f::atk: and any game I play reads it as a dp. Yet my inputs for rdps are the exact same in both games yet there’s a BIG difference in how many times my fighter does their rdp move.
There is input leniency, but in general the inputs are tighter than umvc3. Try doing chin’s rdp + p (drink), and you’ll see why a clean input is important.
Yeah…I get it a 100% in MvC3 (play Spider-man) and I still fuck Chin’s drink a lot.
DP’s can be inputted as 626, 613, or 616 (for RDP’s, that’s 424, 431, or 434). There’s also leniency for all half-circle motions. HCF only requires 426, HCB only requires 624, and Vice’s Overkill (1236982) only requires 12682. The last direction in a motion can also generally be substituted for another one, like motions that end with 6 can also be ended with 9, and motions that end with 4 can also be ended with 7.

Hey, Sparkster/Laban you guys coming to FR? I just wanna know because I would love to play casuals with you guys and level up and stuff.
No, I blew myself up on FR but I’m looking to make it to UFGT8/Season’s Beatings/PowerUp.
No money. I have barely enough for NCR and I’m still hurting for a job to make EVO a possibility. I want to do casuals and I want to do a big “Laban’s KOF Corner” at EVO BYOC area to help level up players (especially if I lose early on haha, I just want to play KOF.)
So the best chance of playing both me and Sparkster is at EVO. I’m really regretting the fact that there is over a 130 preregistration on KOF XIII at FR and that FR is the place that’s been supporting KOF throughout the years so it would have been great if I at least attended it this year but I done messed up.
That’s too bad Laban, I feel like if you were able to make it out to more NorCal events you’d be one of the top players here for sure.

^ Lol I’m trying to learn the char, I watched you, Duc and John (UCI, WGC footage etc.) for example. It seems everyone is still adjusting to Ex Kyo. I wonder if there is a stream archive for FF with Sparkster?
NCR is fast approaching in California, but there are plenty of venues to get prepared at. Shore up at some ranbats, head to dragon lounge, hit up NCI (isn’t it this weekend?), give Ramnation a hello! Hopefully our group will show leaps and bounds approaching NCR so we can turn some heads!
EX Kyo wasn’t available at FF because of the PS3 delay, but at the least I have some footage of me from our weekly bar fights.
I’m in the first and third sets here, and if you go to 3:26:42 and 3:48:15 from this link you can see my latest two sets against JJJ, though I was a little rusty overall from lack of casuals and getting the feel of a new stick, which really shows in the first game of grand finals.
This is so helpful. Playin Benimaru’s online is such a pain. I’m not if it’s his standing D, but that kick that comes out forward is such a pain to deal with.
I remember somebody at FF was using Ex Kyo pretty well.
I don’t think any of the setups even had EX Kyo at the time at FF. Both were PS3 if I’m not mistaken, and this was during the PSN mixup that caused the delay. And the only streamed footage was the grand finals, and there was certainly no EX Kyo play there. Sounds like you’ve confused two tournaments.
hmm possibly, but I know there was a KOF tourney in the MW and the winner was using Ex Kyo, do you which tourney I’m talking about?
