If you are aware to what Silver does then you can rush him down as well…
I do it all the time with very little problems fighting him at all…

just got KOF 11 and the last boss is the worst boss i played in years!!! any suggestions on how to be him??? Also i was readin the manual (barely cause its in japanese) and i was wondering what is this BO button? In the arcade is it its own button or what combination of buttons has to be pressed in order for you to do that BO move. i have alot more but could anyone answer these for now???
BO signifies E button for what I know for now.the Knockdown button. Beating Magaki depends on who you use also…It has its own button in the console…It is whatever button does a knockdown attack immediately…the game has a fifth button.
Or you can manually press it by pressing CD together.
Who do you use?
actually i am a 3rd, cvs2 and tekken player…i played all the KOF except 96 but i realized that KOF has pretty cool characters and i watched some good players play and it has alot of depth and its faster paced than SF. i know basic combos but the characters im intrested in are k’, vanessa, janet, Iori, and marlin
K’ is so fukin ez. random ass super for like 40% owns.
lol yeah i kinda realized wit him that if i hit with the forward and low punch move i can link that into the Half circle Foward half circle forward punch move. BTW…i need to learn the slang when talkin about performin moves…
That one is good! I see alot of the cr.b, cr.a, knee, qcb.k as his B&B. Plus hyper hop x 1billion works too.
i really dont see myself getting good at KOF since their are hardly any people that play it in my area…i was foolin around wit it yesterday and you can do a combo and tag out and the next character will continue it…that alone adds so much possibility to the game…soooo much i need to learn
Well start saying what you need to learn…
If I were you I’d start with the older King of Fighters XI Thread by Timestop, then come back to this one…then once you’ve gathered all the info from that I’d branch out to other sources.
Upon finishing between 3-5 sources then start match vid analysis last…
Then just keep updating what you find with match vid analysis and then training partners…
Which one would be a better team? [Ash, Terry, and Iori] or [K’, Terry, and Iori]? Or maybe you can recommend a better team?
thanks
Recommend a better team? Gato, Kula, Oswald
Out of those two though. I’d say: K’, Terry, Iori
Iori isn’t that good in this game though.
Seems like XI is coming out for 360. Anyone plan on buying it for online XI?
Where did you hear this from
why not substitute Iori for Ash heh? NO team scrub ok. Dont listen to him
KOF XI…Why is this game still sporting the same oldass sprites as all previous games?
Was not worth the import effort. Screw you SNK and your endlessly recycled CRAP.
that award goes to CAPCOM not SNK
Well it depends on your style and what you hope to accomplish with your team I guess. K’ is generally a more damaging character if you don’t intend to use Ash or K’ as leader, though… Iori has some decent ways to start a combo and from there you can QS to the appropriate character for more damage.
There’s some matches of a Taiwanese Iori, Oswald(L), K’ player on YouTube who strikes me as pretty good in terms of execution, so you could probably pick up a feel for non-leader Iori and K’ on the same team from watching him, maybe you’ll like what you see.
Still, you could make either team work, it just depends on how you want to play the game and how much effort you’re willing to put into it. Play the characters you like and make them work.
who do not recycle ideas in fighting games?
not even sf2 was original…
is the Xbox 360 worth buying?are previous kofs retrocompatible with 360?
if so i’ll get my 360 then xlive kit and start playing kof online until death
this is the best answer i’ve read so far and this kill every tier discussion done 'till now
using an high tier will not give you the certainty that you’ll win the match
i’m still on my opinion that an hardwork ash will surely make dead meat of a gato scrub
at the only price of the ‘hard work’ to bring ash to a decent level
btw i prefer terry ash K’ for a team instead of iori that is not more the well rounded chara as in previous kofs
you can switch between the 3 for the LDM maybe with K’ as starter 'cause is the less stock dependand and land nice stun damage
What he said is true because I make Momoko work for me and she works her magic without a doubt…
Everything all depends on the player…period…
They can have KGO but if they are like a superscrub/elitist scrub/average player then it doesnt matter…
I’ll annihilate their corpse with Momoko OCV with ease…:nunchuck:
Especially if they lack exposure to different styles…if they don’t know what they are up against then they are screwed!!! You’ve got to know what the other character is capable of…or even if you got KGO you may get destroyed…
So it all depends on the player playing, that determines everything.
Tiers are based off as a whole who is easier to win with.
The lower the tier ranking the harder you have to work to win…but that does not mean YOU CANNOT WIN…
