Hmmm? Well, you can set up this if you juggle your opponent in any way and they end up in the corner, then you reset them with A and go into the unblockable from there.

I guess you could also set it up from the unblockable as they get up, if you get it right.

And about testing it at the arcades, I can’t do that because the KoFXI machine here in town broke and the manager won’t fix it, so I guess if anyone else wants to try it at their arcade they could.

i’m still on this as ‘last hope’ to not assume oswald and the game itself as broken

if this easy juggle work even on the original game i think that i’ll quit XI and go back to 2k2

i’m fearing on how many setups are there for this infinite from a tag…

yes your discover make me feel bad 'cause i liked a lot kofXi and it seems that i have to turn back and play kof2k2 or maybe 3s that i don’t like only 'cause a decent and well balanced fighting game do not exists
so 2k2 for the feelings and the fact i’ve played it for full 2 years
and 3s 'cause is the only game where i can find some competition here in italy
but i still dislike 3s and how bad 2k2 looks even if it have the greatest gameplay imho

but ozzy is a cool chara to play with and i’m for no banning anyone in a game i prefer to hangup playing than enter a ‘ban this ban that’ tournament

but if i have to be honest even if i like xi so much i ever felt something strange that could exist
a sort of not 100% sure of the game value

i just tested it out in training mode with adels ldm. so far, i have some sucess escaping it or maybe i’m just timing it wrong.

but nevertheless, i think its escapable. moves with invincibility or autoguard should be able to get out of it.

but i know for sure you cant get out of the unblockable against an incoming character because the properties of an incoming characters are really fucked up. (adels unblockable anyone?) i also heard it might be impossible to escape a travelling grab super when timed right against a character coming in(marys ldm, one of clarks super)

Yeah, I mentioned in dustloop that the inf -might- be escapable with high priority moves, but then again, I am not so sure as you don’t really land to do anything when Oswald resets you. I really don’t know anymore. XD bleh

uhm…i gone wrong with my prev post…the A reset put the opponent on his feet so the dfA is really unblockable…
but i also noticed that the frame window from when the chara is standing to when i eat the dfA is about 1 or 2 (in facto you have to look closely to see the standing stance)
that’s why the combo counter resets
and i can’t think someone could input a startup invincible move in that situation
and again not all of the cast have an invincible move to use

and damm it’s also pretty easy to execute i landed it on the second time i’ve tried

heres what i think:

your opponent have to land for the d/f a to connect since that move dont have the juggle anywhere property.

the reason why it looks like they dont land is because his d/f+a has long active hit frames.

scenerio:

opponent gets hit by d/f+a, qcb+b, standing a. while landing, oswald does another d/f+a but since it doesnt have the juggle anywhere property, the move whiffs and opponent lands. however, the d/f+a stays out for a while and is considered active. the latter of the active frames is also unblockable, thus it hits the opponent immediately after they land and lifts them back up in the air.

sentinels unblockable works almost exactly the same way and have almost exactly the same setups.

as i said in the other thread when a chara jumps in there are some vulnerable frames due to the fact that you can’t air guard
and those frames continue 'till 1-2 other when the chara is on foot on the ring and can’t move or jump
in addition the jumpin angle is slight forward so if you run onthe incoming you can groud crossup him

this is why you can land for free a lot of shits starting from running or non grabs passing throught crossups and tag combos
all of this for free if you get the time and the direction of the incoming

i think also if there is a method to decide your side for the incomings but i dunno

yes you got it and the standing animation frames are just one or two so i can’t think anyone can escape with a dm or other invincibles

btw no one tested it in the arcade yet?

Okay here is some Jenet stuff for now…to compliment what Ouroborous posted up.

I have the game already…there isn’t too much to Geese I will post stuff up on him tomorrow though. Furix, I hear yah man, when I find uberbroken stuff I only tell/show a select few, because I save it to destroy someone in a tournament with…they won’t know what hit them! :badboy:

It can always get banned guys, so don’t worry about it. Question is with this will Oswald soar to the #1 status!! (But then again the question is how high would Mizuki be in Tenka with her pig infinite allowed? It was banned in Tenka, Gairas was as well and you see no problems guys right? So cheer up, and KEEP PLAYING. )

here is some bnb stuff with Jenet that YOU MUST KNOW…

First of all I believe her best move IMO is:

qcf+d,down+d (while in the air)

Why? Because on block after the down+D this move is relatively SAFE!!! Yes so it’s great to annoy the HELL out of your opponent.

Other stuff: Anti Air- df+D (Her old TOP attack from Garou)-When you sense they are going to jump use this move seriously.

Here is some more DG stuff I do matter of fact-

backdash down+d- in the air and in a backdash you can do this move and if you since the opponent is gonna attack do the d,d,d,d (d rapidly) follow up to the down+D to make Jenet kick rapidly… Down +b in the air is the same move but it comes at a different angle and height.

Basic combos with Jenet- cr.bx2xxqcf+b st.axxst.cxxqcf+b. Cr.Cxxqcf+D,down+D,Dxxqcfx2p superxxDream Cancel into LDM. (Only qcfx2p super can dreamcancel) (in corner) Cr.Cxxqcf+D,down+D,D- reset with a/c into whatever.

Best HH is HH C because like Geese it hits double hit…

qcb+k (whatever her flipping dress hitting attack is) is an overhead

She’s got good strings off of this stuff as well and I will get into this stuff the next segment.

Yeah man what you guys gotta understand that I am sure many of you understand is that in fighting games the new characters will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have something broken about them…the sooner you come to terms with that the better things will be as a whole. Out of 5 new characters 2-3 will be top tier give or take with some broken stuff, always the trend in fighting games,

EDIT: rogueyoshi-If it is the command grab thing then I can do a Super or counter upon landing or something else like go into #1-cr.bx2xxcombo/many many other things like her overhead attack or backdash to pixie dust with kick to counter…#2St. E into St. E Karacancel mixups…many things to keep the pressure and other things… but good posting that so everyone can see the counter for everything and I can post how I counter it.

Yeah, I think it was needed for the info to be released, why keep it to myself. Thing is, I don’t want to see people bailing out just cuz of it, Oswald was broken to begin with, we all knew that. Now he’s… just more broken. Maybe Ozzy should just be banned from tournies? Maybe not, it shouldn’t matter much, keep playing! The game is still fun. :smiley:

in fact i’ve called this new chara’s overpowering syndrome

but this is sad 'cause i think 3s tiers are more balanced than xi tiers even if kof is a 3vs3 game and you can mix charas to cover the most of the matchups

especially in 3s makoto and gouki requires a lot of skills to be used and be effective
but what skill you should have to imput dfA qcbB A again and again with an unblockable move as startup?
the infinite came out to me on the second try and there are so many setups…

but, in 2k2 still vanessa and angel had infinite but the overall balance of the chara was good both arent neither god tiers but top or under top

and for neowave a good use of just defend can take away the worst god tier
and my favourite victim is just young geese

Because from my POV I see it about the same. In tournies in 3s I’ve seen 50 billion kazillion vids of just Yun, Ken, Chun, and some using Makoto, Akuma, Yang, Urien etc.

I think they are about the same,Yun having his GJ, Chun and her Kara throw and Sa2 stuff and Ken with his SA3 and EX stuff, I think the tiers in 3s IMO and the tiers in XI are almost the same…matter of fact I digress, I have more of a reason to believe the tiers in XI are BETTER than 3s if you look it from this perspective-

In 3s you have Top Tier, 2nd Tier, then bottom tier.

In Xi you have S-E Class, now technically you could divide it into top, Second, and everyone else, but why hasn’t anyone done this for 3s? Lack of characters? Even with that they still could divide the Bottom Class couldnt they? It’s been damn near 8 years of the game being out they surely could do so by now right?? :wonder:

EDIT: And guys, after playing with Mary, I am getting ready to post some stuff up with her, she can be deceivingly good, her invincible grab thing is not the only thing she has, she is wicked and SAFE (Yes I said SAFE) in the corner, she can OCV you if you are not aware JUST HOW SAFE SHE IS

I will be posting up later only to counter the arguments that Mary “has nothing outside her Dodge” Because this is like the safest I’ve seen Mary in a long time, and she ain’t top tier (The only game she was tops was was in FF3, her original incarnation further supporting me and Rengoku’s new character theory…:lol:)
