So, I take it that KOF:XI officially was released today, I heard the NA ver. has glitches is this true?
Yea i need to play more. I think once i get my copy of xi my vanessa and beni will get much better.
I played against a pretty beastly Taiwanese player who used non-leader Elizabeth. She does okay stun and has decent QS starters, even if she has fairly crappy combos off a low (and she has a grab super, I guess). Damage output isn’t terrible when she lands a hit. And she has a sure-juggle move which is always a nice thing to have.
She’s definitely way better with the LDM, but she’s workable without it. Are there better characters? Of course. But who cares if you like the character.
Also I don’t see why 2k2 Whip matters at all in this thread. XI Whip is different as a character in a few key ways, but more importantly, XI is different from 2k2.
I mean nobody is discussing 2k3 Malin tactics like they’re relevant to XI Malin, and that’s one version removed. Why would 2k2 Whip (THREE versions old) be all that relevant? Even Iori goes through some changes across that many versions.
You could argue that her base character design plays similarly… but it’s the specifics that make or break some characters, and the specifics are what drop Whip from being good in 2k2 to being not-so-good in XI.
I like Jenny Leader a lot, i have her as leader most of the time I play her, but I usually don’t play kula or gato when I do play
Once again this is why I stay out of this shit… I hate to admit it but a lot North Americans think they have all the answers when they FAIL TO STEP OUTSIDE AND SEE THAT THEY DONT!!!..
Hence why I aint taking sides on this really…I refuse to comment on Whip/make a definitive answer when I have seen nasty shit in person in general in other countries… Thus I do believe this shit exists…
I would recommend to others that they do the same…
I have proved many wrong many times in other games when they “thought they knew” yet they refused to go outside of their bubble to see whether its true or not…

Most of them will never step outside of the US thus they will never see this…they will never understand why there is a US Tier list in games and TIER LISTS FOR OTHER COUNTRIES…

Premiere example of this…Japanese Tier Lists in NGBC had Athena and Tung bottom tier for the longest time… (THEY ARE STILL BOTTOM TIER)
Me and Joey (Ultimate Faust) had been fighting with The Triad and other so-called know it alls in NGBC that this was not the case…it took Final Round X and May 5th plus future tournaments to move Athena to C class and Tung to B where he is now when we had been saying this shit for THE LONGEST TIME… :annoy: 
I also had to prove to people why Young Geese in NeoWave is S Class (Playable toned down version) when at the beginning the so-called know it alls said he was A Class and that Deadly Rave was “overrated.”

When I got to him I had Ash, Kim and Duck King. He threw me off because I didn’t know his move set and style. As a character I like him, and the new cut scenes are pretty.
