I can’t for the life of me connect 2b after leona’s 236236a if techroll is on, i think u can tech it every time. I even tried it with my back to the wall it will not connect. Oh and for her 3A,A,C into launch into 3 hits in the air into v-slash, you really only need 1/4 bar to get the whole combo to do the whole thing from the begining… too sick for 70 dmg
Hmm, I know it connects but the timing rather odd. It would take me a while to load up my game seeing as how the lens on my ps2 is starting to fail, but like I said even I rarely use it so there was probably no point in putting it up ^^;.
I know I posted up some of my more advanced combos earlier in the thread.
There’s also on on that list that has the 2B into… combo but I don’t remember if I did that because of the combo governor.

this might be old, because it was easy to figure out and would probably work in the other version but i thought it was pretty cool

or you can do two more 63214Ds instead of orochinagi or end with whatever move. Looks really cool and actually not too hard to do.

I just tried it and I couldn’t pull it off. 3A C C 63214B I can land but I can’t land another the second 63214B. What happens is that A)The attack whiffs or B)I cross up. Which version were you talking about? MI2? Or Regulation A?

after the second 63214B you will cross them up then the following 63214Ds will cross up each time until the combo drops (after 10 hits total) or you do lvl 2 orochinagi (2 hits)
doing all 63214Ds at the end is 70 dmg, doing lvl2 orochinagi is 86 dmg… and doesn’t use an extra stock because 63214D ends quickly
it’s pretty good and i’ll still use the B,d/f+D juggles on blocked unsafe moves but it’s pretty good for whiffs because you can get to the wall pretty easily with it
um also you want to do the first 63214B as soon as landing the last hit of 3A,C,C, the second one can be delayed a bit, and as for the follow up 63214Ds you want to do them when your opponent is as high as possible so he crosses over to each side every time you hit him
after messing around a bit more, i tried a similar juggle off of 2D,C, but the distance difference during each launch can very so it’s not worth it, and also the combo drops after 3 reps of 63214D anyway, so I think for now I’m just going to stick to crappy 2D,C orochinagi (40dmg yay =P)
Messing around with Mary a bit more, I’m trying to figure out juggles after B,D,3C. You can do charge 2,8 B/D afterward. B,D,3C, charge2,8 D, supercancel into lvl 1 super (62 dmg) or B,D,3C, charge 2,8 D, 2C, lvl 1 super (57 dmg) both work but they are both kind of obvious combos so I’m going to try for more. Hitting them with charge 2,8 B/D, 4 B/D kind of crosses them up and each move has slightly different results so I’m going to play around with it a bit and see if I can come up with something cool… unless someone else has been messing with her and would like to share.

^THIS IS BANNABLE from tournaments, and is potentially game breaking.
That’s a pretty big glitch to have just slipped by like that. It should be banned.

well the danger lies in the fact that when Iori goes into blood mode he can just cancel normals on block or hit into whatever he does to get in the air like that, and once he’s there he cant be hit at certain heights / gets invincibility. it seems similar to Kyosuke’s superjump super glitch in Project Justice, which was also banned. same case here.

Uh i made a mary one that kind of shows something cool about dynamite swing that cancels out the damage scaling… basicly… A juggle will end normally because of too many hits like any other juggle in the game that could potentially go on forever. BUT if you end her juggle with Vertical Arrow, the juggle ends and the person caught in it will be hit by the follow up to vertical arrow (snatchbreaker) and then of course mary dynamite swing… but because this is the start of a brand new combo, the damage scales back to normal… somewhat. I was able to do at some point a 170 dmg juggle with her because of this bug… however because i was messing around in practice mode too much I can’t seem to remember what exactly I did… but it’ll come to me.

The one combo in the combo exhibition 4 on youtube is pretty interesting because it shows her crossing up with charge 4,6B and landing 3B and comboing from there… pretty nice stuff.
How do you do Mary’s level 3? I activate it but I can’t get the spin that does all of that damage. I can do one spin that does lame damage but that’s it.
These are the 3 ways to get to the good dynamite swing after activating escallation.
After doing the second part of one of these moves, you can pretty much mash down+C to get dynamite swing to come out (which is what I usually do).

i don’t know i haven’t tried lien and my xiao lon sucks so i can’t give any tips really other then with xiao long her standard A mode string into 236 A x 3, you can delay her lvl 1 super way after you do the 236 A x 3. You might just have to watch some vids. I play her very simple (A mode, lots of jumping CD, B mode lots of jumping A and poking with A).
