Actually no, the guard crush move is very slow and requires her to teleport into the opponent, which means she will easily get poked. I’ve hardly ever seen anyone land a successful guard break in any match using that move. If you roll the guard crush move, you can punish her with any combo. Besides, you have to be in maxmode for this guard crush combo to work.
the GC combo i remember can’t be avoided…'cause you cancel something into that GC move…it’s late and i can be wrong…tomorrow i’ll check
There is nothing you can cancel from into the guard crush move that you cannot roll out of or dp through. Your best bet at landing it is probably doing something like close C, f+A, BC, qcf+B f+C(guard crush), dp+A, dp+C, etc. If you do a forward teleport into the gaurd crush move, you cannot cancel it into qcf+B (for whatever reason), you have to use qcb+B f+C if you want to cancel it to qcf+B. One variation is something like:
Close C, f+A(blocked), BC, qcb+B, f+C(guard crush), qcf+B, close C, f+A, hcf+P(3 hits), qcf+B, Close C, f+A, hcf+P(3 hits), etc
that is straight up mash bait. wont be landing that unless you’ve got them scared silly.

You can’t…there is a specific bug that can let you cancel a special into itself (once), this can be used to do something like cancel the first qcb+P into qcb+Px3, or for you to do two qcf+A’s with Kyo (and the second qcf+A is cancelled into qcf+A, K for example), or with Shermie, to cancel qcb+K into itself.
And how is doing this bug ?? O_o i wanna try it. ^^U.
Edit: Is like the bug from 2K1 that Iori can cancel the QCB with HCB+K:P ??? O_o
I don’t know about the 2k1 bug…as for this 2k2 bug, it’s very impractical and hard to get working…if you get knocked down just after you finish doing the motion + button of a move such that it doesn’t come out, then that move becomes bugged, and can be cancelled into itself in maxmode, only once.
Is 2002 Iori’s max mode combos the same as his SvC:C ones (I don’t know how it is exactly, but it’s something like [qcb+C cancel to hcb+D cancel to dp+C] x 3 ->Ya Otome-> optional Saika) or are they different?
YOu can alternate (qcb+C, dp+C) and (hcb+K, dp+C), the last one for best damage. You can do variations of it but if you want damage (and guard crushing if the opponent has no stock and is blocking), use (hcb+K, dp+C). So one example is:
Close C, BC, run up Close C, hcb+K(1 hit), dp+C(2 hits), hcb+K(1 hit), dp+C(2 hits), supercancel SDM (or, do another hcb+K(1 hit), dp+C(2 hits) and supercancel to DM, but this does less damage even with the add on qcfx4+AC and wastes more stocks.

Okay, I just got this game, and I’m trying to figure out a team. I’m so used to capcom games that this is completely foreign to me. I looked at the Wiki on KOF 2k2, but there are so many different things to consider when forming a team that it made my head spin. I’ve been playing around with it, and so far I like Andy and Kensou. Any suggestions for a 3rd character to round this team out?

yes you’re right you can AB roll or whatever while vanessa is dashing toward you…once rolled out and she’ll finish in corner she can be raped by any combo…plus the fact she’s backturned and can take additional hits
