If you want a serious tourney, then ban every boss in the entire game. Since I haven’t played 2002 UM yet, can someone confirm whether or not these bosses are direct ports of the bonus chars on the ps2 kof 2002? If they happen to be, they are broken as shit and rightfully should be banned.
You know what will happen when someone familiar with the series see’s Geese and Goenitz on someones team? They will laugh and enter a different tourney.

Doing something outside of this idea will make the game a piece of shit in tourney environment and not worth watching. to top off my annoyance I just voted incorrectly. Hardly, I just happen to be very objective with my conclusions and look at it from all possible angles.
A lot of the time, boss characters are more just fan service…like Gill from 3s. They are usually intended for casulas but not legitimate tournament situations.
I’m just saying I got two sides of people on the Igniz story. I feel he should be banned period…all it is to it and until someone can give me legitimate evidence to counter that, that is what it is gonna be. I’m on different forums too you know…
and many say Geese and Goenitz are not that bad…and some are even saying Clone Zero isn’t that bad either…
So right now esp with the votes seeing how they are swaying the way of “Ban who is uber broken, don’t ban who isnt”,
It is leaning towards leaving Geese and Goenitz in the game.
Also about those people that “would laugh at Geese and Goenitz in the game”…

Dont get me wrong, As a mexican I think I have more of a fan background to surpass yours so I support you holding up the SNK scene. But as to pretty much running it? Nah…That doesnt exist. Much like the scene. You’d be better off starting a scene in mexico. You shouldnt make the rules, Find people who have placed top in tournaments decide that. goenitz is ok in this game? idk im not gonna bother to unlock him so ill have to see a vid or soemthing. if hes no better than normal geese then thats fine. i thought he was always broke just cuz of tornados
wtf about geese seems OP? a bnb off close c that does 40% (everyone can do that) and a combo that uses 5 stocks, requires red life and does 80% (lots of characters can do more than that with less meter).

IMO, I feel the same way as you guys with letting the original characters in. But have the other characters been proven to be broken? The way I see it, Just ban the boss characters, Or anyone who’s overpowered to hell…I wanted to play as kasumi

He’s straight up SVC…and because you had to use meter to roll in SVC…that benefited Goenitz’s style of play.
However in this game because you can roll without meter…that doesnt benefit his style of play…

The only other characters that wll be able to get close are the nest bosses. and thats becuase they have just as much bullshit, all of them including c zero, they all hold an advantage over the regular cast

Krizzy, C. Zero and O. Rugal are all definitely worthy of a ban to be honest.

Krizzy is so over the top it’s amazing. qcf+A might be one of the best moves ever. But you’ve already figured out a lot his bullshit.
C. Zero has insane pokes, everything guard crushes after chipping like 5%. Basically you’ll end up cheesing people with Far B>cancel to anything you want for 5%+reset back to far B.
O. Rugal has insane zoning still, uppercut is still retarded safe on block and juggles on top of being invincible. Basically he is a slightly toned down version of O. Rugal. Which is Still O. Rugal.
Basically all the Bosses I’ve unlocked don’t really reward good play at all. And just kinda retard cheesy set ups and retarded corner pressure.
Need to try Geese and Goenitz I guess. Cause I’m figuring O. Zero and Igniz will be more of the same crap.
I’m just tempted to ban all unlockables like most games do and call it good.
