That makes no fucking sense, I know since isn’t really a big thing in comics but Nolan usually tries to be slightly more realistic.

They’re vapor trails. Condensation from air friction is one of the things that causes them to form.
I atually like the New Krypton story. Sure, the ending was stupid (and the less said about the giant Krypton God, the better), and it basically made Krypton to look like a planet full of 1%ers, but most of the early issues were quite well done. Also, Doomsday getting pounded to goo by like 100k super powered Kryptonians was kinda funny. It’s something that really shouldn’t have been resolved in like 10 issues or whatever, that should have been Marvel Civil War in scope, and lasted like an entire year or more.
