^ Damnit… so do you actually have to put in time with the gummi ship, or can I just use the highlander 1.0 and blast my way through those levels.
The mission stuff is optional. They open after you clear the route, and you only bother with them if you like the gummiship stuff.
You gain new gummiship upgrades from just going through those normally, so you’ll wind up with ships that can make it through any stage.
Like I said, beat 'em up. Sure, in this game, just like the last, all you’re doing is mashing the hell out of X (and Triangle/Square), but unlike KH1, the battles here are faster, and overall your character is just stronger. You’re mauling down a ton of enemies at a rapid succession, as if you were walking the streets of Metro City. KH1, on the other hand, was still fairly slow even when you were overpowered.
The thing about JRPGs is that they have more in common with Simulations than any other genre. What they’re about is learning how to best economize your given resources. Almost the same shit goes on behind the scenes of Final Fantasy’s engine, as it would be for Sim City. Sure, it’s repetitive, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. Repetition is only bad when it gets tedious. When nothing is added to the mix, when nothing’s changed up. I felt KH1 was much more tedious than its sequel.
I knew I missed something from the first game…
Also, I just slapped Sephiroth with Sora’s dick and I also now have the Ultima Weapon. My drive to complete the Journal is gone now, so GGPO Kingdom Hearts II. Thanks for the past couple of weeks. Now to go back to Persona 2, wait for my copy of Phoenix Wright to arrive, and push myself to finish 24: The Game.
Yes, bowling pin has hit somthing here. IN KH2, Sora is much more nimble. In KH, his swings are almost timed and take some time to get in.
However, alot of battle require more strategy in KH as opposed to KH2. In 2, you can just step up and bash out a win, where as in 1, I’m specifically thinking of battling Leon or Cloud, you have to make sure to take advantage of openings.
i hate twilight town. i always get lost when i’m trying to get to the mansion
In heighn-sight, this game would be just as good were it just Sora in your party and not Donald or Goofy; sometimes I find that those two idiots can be pretty useless.
Yey but then Sora’d be lonely.
where is the best place to level up the final form?
Yen Sid’s tower and TWTNW, as ONLY Nobodies can level up the Final Form, and Yen Sid’s Tower has TWO Save Points to abuse the Drive Glitch.
hmm does anyone notice any similarities between Demyx and 1980s singer Nik Kershaw?

must be the hair…
Aight i need to some help if possible. In Jiminy’s journal its saying that I’m missing two treasure chests in Mulan’s world and one chest in Pooh Bears world. I’ve searched everywhere in both worlds but I can’t find anything and its really startin to aggravate me cause thats the only thing holding me back from completin the worlds.
Does anyone know where the chests may be at?
I bet you didnt see the chest near the stairs in the emperor’s room there should be 8 chest there.
What is this “Magnet” I need to move the statue in Atlantica? I’m guessing it’s a spell or item, but how do I get it?
Also, what does “level five drive” mean for that same world? Does that mean leveling up a form until its at least level five?
Mangeta isa spell obtained via storyline
Level 5 drive means 5 levels of drive before you activate.
i need one more orichalcum+. what am i supposed to get in order for the moogle to give it to me?
Get all types of materials
i think i already have. but still haven’t gotten anything
EDIT: i got 2 missing. blazing crystal and twilight gem
You can get the Twilight Gem from Assassins; at the end of the game, they are found in TWTNW before the area where you fight the last two members of Organization XIII.
I can’t tell you where to find Blazing crystals; sorry.
i was mistaken. i need twilight gem, and frost crystal. been trying to get twilight gem for hours. no luck yet
Hmmm, equip all the characters with the ability that increases their luck for items and equip Sora with The keyblade you get from completeing 100 Acre Woods. There are also some accesories that increase your luck. I got it in my first try for it.
