I’ve heard about classic Iori (seems like confirmed DLC, from the discussions above) and Eiji in the game, I also heard about “5 characters that have never been on a KOF game”. What’s up with that?

I don’t know what they’re getting at 5 characters never being in KoF. I assume they are referring to actual “new characters” and maybe a couple of Hwa Jai/Raiden returning characters.

Eiji hasn’t been confirmed. He’s hinted heavily because of Billy and EX Iori.

I don’t remember the quote about the 5 characters exactly, but it was something like 5 characters that were never playable at KOF. My bets would be they’re Saiki, Adelheid, Botan, Shroom and Rimelo.

Atlus releases on 360 have always been region locked, but KoF XII was region free when it was published by Ignition. So unfortunately it’s really hard to say. I wouldn’t take the gamble at least.
For people complaining about DLC '98 Iori, he’s the pre-order bonus in Japan. Atlus or Rising Star have yet to confirm if it’s the same for US/Europe, but he might be.
I much prefer a bonus character like 98 iori as dlc than a whole new character like say billy, how fast is his hcf+p now!
As for the 5 Chracters not seen in kof before, all i’ve seen is people mention chracters i’ve never even heard of botan rimwhatever Calling it now, rick
Yeah this sounds like thoses characters they’ve been showing on the KOF 11 endings. I would love B.Jenet to return with Gato and Tizoc…That team was a breakout hit!

This is truly the only fighting game I’m looking forward to, after CRAPCOM’s shit.
I’m especially hype about classic Iori, but I hope he won’t be DLC… but Ill pay for it, just to support SNK!

Game won’t have spectator mode for online, but hopefully it gets added in in a future update.
