i still might be buying the US or jpn version. the US version imported would cost me around 35 or 40 euros. i saw they where asking 65 euros or something for the EU version. for that kinda price im used to coming.

TBH I don’t really have a problem with that since whether it’s a 100 KB or 20 MB, I’m paying for it to support SNK (So long as this port and online is good)

I’m not upset over this. I’m guilty of purchasing this sort of DLC myself. Generally announcing DLC before release does not rise consumer confidence

I don’t know why you feel ashame. I’ll only be upset with company that exploits the system thoughtlessly. Like how capcom is doing it, SNK as company at whole made some poor decision but they are at least trying to comply to their fanbase with sincerer. Hell they even apologize for their mistakes. (Unlike capcom)
They have already given what most wanted which was balance change, modes, an additional characters, and pretty much more content. Capcom, has stray away from this and its impressionable that they do this attend to squeezes more money out people (I’m not happy about UMVC3 nor ONO recents tweets). While one can say the same about SNK, its already apparent that SNK KOF Icon not doing well and this game will decide weather the series lives or dies. I’ll figure supporters of any kind would find these practices tolerable.
Yes it’s criminal when a company like Capcom or SNK listens to the demands for a rebalance and more characters and then decide to charge for it.

They are still releasing the FULL ARCADE GAME plus tonnes of extras; they have EVERY right to release DLC. Plus 98 Iori is a bonus character anyway, shouldn’t be in the game but is in there for the fans; it makes sense to have him as DLC.
This is nothing like what other companies do in regards to DLC, so sthu. Then when you consider how much time and money goes into creating a single character…just let SNK have abit of cake for their efforts.
And I like how people who have never been in this thread before come in now to call them ‘scammers’ or whatever; clearly trolls who don’t give a damn about the game regardless.

As for the DLC you dont have to buy it but you should if you want SNK to carry on making fighters.
Sadly it seems im picking on capcom but as company of its caliber, i have certain expectation of them. Oh well I should have not ranted about them. I’m just surprise its still stir some people about DLC, if don’t want it than don’t get it.
This game looks so hype that I can’t believe that it’s coming from modern-day SNK.

And what’s best, the nerfs make sense, especially the frame disadvantage on Iron Trigger. K’ and Raiden are still good characters it seems, just not OP anymore.
