Thank you very much for your reply man. Very informative. I played all KoFs (except XI and only a little of XII) but I still miss the good old '98 days. But I’m thrilled to see a proper sequel to KoF and now with online and such I’m hoping to play it more competitively again.
People who prioritize netplaying over offline play won’t come to tournies anyway. The point is irrelevant. The only thing that hurt the community with MBAC verb2 was the fact it was on pc, and thus more of a hassle to setup and run than on a console at events.
Netplaying is helpful to those who lack an offline scene and can help get people into the game. Everything after that is up to the player.
lol that yagami line is olddd, takes me back to 95 (what a great game). back then he actually looked like a gay (remember this is before the metro bitch ass era, wu tang/deathrow days), till you played him, thats when he became really cool. same for kyo, he was real metro in 94 (compared to ryo and terry), but now he looks more hardcore and rugid and raw than 99,9% of all the characters made after the metro era (when did this shit start? 99). i really hate this metro era with their fucked up designs. seems japan is getting worse and worse in this shit.
also ona a side note, GG characters BETTER than SS characters? wtf, that just took all your cred away heta.

also if a new 2d SS game ever where to come out itd be a dream come true. ive been waiting on a new one since 96 (fuck 5 and all those after that). the game got worser and worser after 2, since 3 the same damn graphics been used. we need that ish in hd, with all the good characters in it (ss1 till 4 cast + shiki & asura with that 7 swords dude from 5 yoshitora, add that new bitch mina with some tweaks in design and such, last but not least add TESSAI, dude just belongs in SS.

if you install ggpo, run kof 2k2, press ctrl+f5 and change to debug bios, you will have an option mode menu single play team play versus and training mode freatures
“No Mai, no buy” is a bit too simplistic, yes.
But “No well-fleshed-out, mechanically diverse KOF with balance and depth comparable to '98 with a competent console release, no matchbreaking handcuff glitches, and a version of Clark that doesn’t suck balls, no buy” just doesn’t flow quite as nicely.

Kinda figured by just compairing KOF with Blue Seed in a way. If Ash is going to wish to be a woman, help all if Ash picks a Sakura like form while wearing the idol outfit. Hard to imagine something like her with green flames spitting out instead of charms.
