You can buy devices to make the stick backwards compatible, or make old sticks forwards compatible. The ChronusMax appears to be the best one.
Played another long set vs. RicoSuave. This time against his Sabrewulf. I’ll post some vids soon. We both agreed that Sabrewulf vs. Glacius is about 5-5.

I had hardly any good experience in the Thunder matchup (which was prolly fairly obvious to you lol) and was brutally outplayed by your Jago.
At a certain point I was just mindfucked tbh, at least I grabbed one true victory (the ones against Orchid don’t count 
)
Too much jumping, dropped combo’s, I felt like a scrub :facepalm:

The netcode in this game is truly amazing, USA - Europe and it plays silky smooth
I thought you played solid. Most of the wins were from you just not respecting my options enough (such as Instinct activate>dash with Thunder).
Also, with Jago, when the opponent is cornered, fHP>LP Fireball at max range is very + on block because of the fireballs travel time. It lets Jago enforce a very SF2 Ryu fireball trap looking thing. Also, fireball confirms with EX wind kick.
Also, regarding breakers, I know this sounds wierd but… I would use heavies just a touch more in your combos. When you only use Light and medium doubles, then I can just focus on reacting to the mediums. THrowing a few heavies in there re mindfucks the opponent (me).
Also, my Thunder is pretty good…

And I’m not the most patient player so that indeed makes me end up disrepecting your options / or still just flat out unaware due to inexperience.
Which makes me just blame myself in the end.

Got a xbone for christmas and KI…seriously one of the best gifts I’ve had in quite some time. I spent the last few hours online with my barely day 1 jago so I need some strong opponents and good sets. I suck at this game cause I’m playing it like I would ST but I’m hoping my ST and 3s skill transfer over eventually.

Matches vs. Rico’s Sabre
Oh yeah I wanted to ask how do we access the classic KI game?
Are they gonna fix the dumbass invite system with the next patch? Tried for 40 minutes to play my friend, and we’ve played plenty of times before, but apparently the game just didn’t feel like letting invites work yesterday.
I’m playing someone in exhibition, my friend invites me. I’m not gonna accept the invite midmatch, so I finish, but because I didn’t accept the invite is lost for all time…
And despite my friend sitting in Exhibition waiting, I can’t click on “unread messages” because the invite has vanished. I tell him to invite me again, and the dumbass little “Hold For Details” message pops up, and 60% of the time when I “Hold For Details” the X! immediately goes to the “Turn off XBox” screen, losing the damn invite again. Can’t even click on my friend’s name and select “Join Session in Progress”, because there is no option for it.
Finally do get the Invite screen to pop up, choose “Accept and Play” and for the next 20 minutes and everytime one of us accepts, it dumps us into our own host lobby. I mean WTF game.
Party joining said “added friend to game” everytime I created a lobby, but it dumps my friend into his own lobby, or vice versa.
And seriously, why does DH even give 2 shits if a player is chatting in a party when playing ranked matches. Obviously you can’t invite friends to a ranked game, but who the hell cares if you’re chatting…they even do this in that fairly shitty Halo Spartan Assault game…
Any word on Endless Battle? Much as I love getting ragequit on in Ranked and Exhibition, at least give us that…
The party bs is a m$ issue, not a DH issue.
They said they are fixing it soon, but no specifics.
@alphaZero, invites are technically a notification so that’s why they don’t stay in the messages list anymore. If someone invites you and you miss it, just go to the dashboard and a little box with a globe on it in the top left corner can be seen. Click on that globe and it takes you to your notifications and find the invite. You can also just say “Xbox, go to Notifications”.
The way I usually deal with the party issue is sending an invite through the game itself. If I’m having an issue with the party I usually just leave the party, go to exhibition, host/invite and let the game create the party and invite. Select who you want to invite and that usually gets things going.
Lobbies/Spectator mode and Ranking are the highest priority features or fixes. DH said they both will be taken care of soon.
I tried the globe thing and had no notifications. I dunno, maybe my friend closed the lobby so it wouldn’t work. Shit is dumb though, especially accepting a party invite and having to wait for it to load up…and then having to turn the party chat on…silly MS

- What do the green lights under the KV meter represent?
- In online play, what does the number to the left of your KI symbol mean? The right one is your rank level, what is the left?

edit: I must add I am impatient to get my stick delivered and start the steep learning curve of playing on one. losing doesnt matter to me, just got that need to learn!
