Shadow Jago didn’t need to be any more than a palette swap really. He’s not advertised nor really considered towards being part of the actual roster of characters. He’s just a fill-in boss until the real one comes in.

Well im probably going to main Thunder since he’s a grappler but what i want to know is which character can i pick & pretty much abuse to win the tournament…Give me some B&B combos!

So far it looked like the only differences with Shadow Jago are his color and possibly some of his frame data and hit effects. Didn’t see one diffrent normal or special move. Basically, that sucked but got time to improve I guess.
The premium accessories were cool. Like Sadira’s stuff.
he has a chain around his body and a skull-influenced mask that resembles mk scorpion. not really important but yeah.
I thought the same exact thing… I feel a bit mislead by them saying “he’s a different character” this whole time. He’s not different at launch.
Yeah he falling a bit too far into old MK/SF Alpha swap terirtory for me. Room to change, but looking cookie cutter and cash grabby ATM.

I’m pretty jealous right now. Although, I probably would have put that PS4 on eBay and bought an X1 when I could.
I’ll say this, I’d be a LOT more pissed about Shadow Jago if they were hyping him up as a true part of the roster, had the teasers and all that and then got what we got.
Like I said before, he’s only there as a filler boss and a random bonus for people who like dark colors. He really doesn’t need to be more than that. Hell, he really didn’t need to be made at all, I think people would’ve survived without a boss for a while.
When was it said he’s a boss character, i don’t remember DH saying that? Plus, there wont be an actual story mode until season 1 is finished at most he could be a random in the survival mode… But, its really just a costume with deepened voice samples.
Ken Lobb suggested he may be a placeholder boss in one of his gamescom interview with IGN’s Destin.
About Shadow Jago, right now he’s essentially an alternate for Jago, the key part of that sentence being "Right now."
Double Helix is planning on making him into a unique fighter in the future, as of right now though you still get to use him as an alternate skin as he’s still in development.
I’ve said it before, but if they are going to make Shadow Jago into a regular character, then they’ll need to either make him available for purchase, or have him excluded from tourneys. Personally, I would hate to see a legitimate character excluded from a tourney just because of some kind of exclusivity. Actually, I would hate to see him become legitimate and still remain an exclusive all around. I don’t even think shooters do that with exclusive guns, they usually tend to be a special skin of an accessible gun, but I could be wrong. The only way I can see it working, is if Shadow Jago is so crappy that no one wants to play as him, and I’m sure no one wants to see that happen.
So I just went to GameStop tonight to pick up KZ, and I asked about the TE2. He told me that they still had 11/23 in their computer but it wasn’t the street date. So I took the $50 off of it and put it towards KZ.
Then I get on IRC and my buddy said he asked at his GameStop today and as of 2 hours ago, he told him the street date there was 11/22.
I’m so fucking confused about when the F these TE2’s are going to make it to the end users.
Yea, and dude on DH forums said if they try the card and it doesn’t work, they may contact you to fix it (WHAT AMAZON SHOULD HAVE DONE WITH ME, THOSE BASTARDS) and I hope that’s true since I have a card they can use. And on a better note, got help from another dh forum user and may be able to get a Day One Edition next Saturday 
(hopefully everything goes fine).
