Umm … not sure what to make of this video, that shows the tail end of a 241 or so hit ultra combo with Jago.
Does that mean there are infinites or something? Or I’m wondering if it was all setup with the opponent and it incorporated a lot of counter breakers to drain the entire life bar. I noticed it didn’t show the end of the combo where it gives you the damage.

@purbeast, without ultra assist I’ve never seen a combo go higher than 50 something hits. Unless Jago’s instinct mode allows for some dumb long combos, don’t see how it would work without multiple counter breakers (since those reset KV each time).
Most likely counter breaker assisted. Counter breaks would be the easiest way to rack up combo numbers. Even if it wasn’t, chances are the combo eventually becomes predictable and easy to break. The KV system should prevent infinites in some similarity to how MVC2’s spin out prevents an infinite after so many hits.
So KI is no longer KI. Who would be the best player to use if you’re going to pre launch tournament?
KI is a KI that’s actually making an attempt to be a serviceable fighter and not just riding on presentation alone.
And Jago/Wulf.
We already went through this with SFIV and Marvel. You’re not going to get what you remember to a tee. Its play the old games or step up to change.
Jago and Sabrewulf are the most accessible as far as their basic gameplan. Everyone else will take you more grinding to unlock a decent amount of potential.
Dammit I have a back ordered 1 and quantity 1, I’m canceling it and picking it up on the 13th at a local gamestop and it will save me at least $30 in shipping. Pad for me is just fine for now.
