I canceled my Madcatz preorder since I had a backordered 1, and Gamestop. Now the only one I Have open is Amazon. Madcatz need to get there ish together with the shipping info. I literately didn’t get a PS4 because of me saving up $239 for the stick and shipping.
Edit: Tomorrow I’m going to my local gamestop where I’m good friends with peeps there and see what they tell me about the stick. But when I canceled the stick she was asking me why did I cancel it and I told her the date of release was wrong and they had it for 12/13. She checked her system and it was still on 12/13. So I really don’t know either WTH is going on with the shipping.
On the stream I noticed them doing a Opener > Linker or Linker > Linker?. Can someone elaborate this for me because I thought you had to follow up with a Manual/Auto.
I played KI on the pad for the first time earlier this week. I felt handicapped because of the button layout. Man I hope someone figures out how to use an Xbox One controller to mod a stick quick, because I can’t get a TE2 anytime soon.
Don’t know what to make of the backordered thing in the order status. Now mine has 0 backordered and 1 for quantity, when earlier today it definitely had 1 for both.
Question. Did you happen to get an e-mail confirming your cancellation? Cause as I posted in the TE2 thread. I cancelled. But the order page still shows it Pending Fulfillment and I never got any e-mail either.
Outside of this whole TE2 confusion. My hype levels are through the roof. Next week just can’t get here soon enough, Goddamn.
Wouldn’t surprise me if tournies just make it so that if you initiate Ultra in the first couple of games of a match, you have to do an Ultra Cancel to move things along.
I’m sure in tourneys they will just do the ultra ender as soon as the ultra starts. Banning ultras would not be cool because as soon as you initiate the ultra, the opponent is dead, regardless of how much health they have left.
Yeah, the Ultras themselves are too important to actual play to ban outright. It guarantees a kill at that low percentage without worrying about getting Combo Broken.
Like I said earlier, until you win the match, you’ll probably just be forced to do the Ultra Cancel right away.
They would have banned TAC infinites in Marvel long before they would have banned ultras. They give you options to cut ultras short, its really overrated how long even the longest ultra combos last and the game doesn’t have rounds so that makes matches go by quicker by default.
Ultras are part of the game and the game’s main aesthetic. They allow you to kill the opponent at 15 percent and work as part of the psyche like styling on someone in Marvel does. They’re not going to place any rules on it that wouldn’t get a lot of backlash from tourney goers and stream monsters.
