To be fair, Max DOES state that what he says is pure speculation when that’s all it is. If he doesn’t state this, then it’s probably fact, as he has ridiculous access to Killer Instinct that I don’t think anyone else besides DH has. So, when he says at the beginning of a video that something is speculation, and then it turns out not to be correct, then he wasn’t “wrong”. He’s just as excited as we are about the game, so he states his opinions.

Like MS knows there issues with the product so they are running a Win 7 version of the game on a HP desktop just like E3.
(one of the demonstrations blue-screened and crashed, then rebooted at E3
if there nothing wrong with the Xbox one, then fricking tour with the actual fricking console instead of a HP desktop with Win 7.
Also note M$ don’t trust win 8 for the job… Like how MS most trusted secured servers don’t even runs windows at all, they are Linux servers.
Maybe Microsoft should of held out for another year until Microsoft can properly launch a bug free product.
Then agian we never see a new version of Windows if that is the case
@churrasco, if anyone read those posts I made as “facts” they have terrible reading comprehension. In the first one I just simply say that Max stated something. Just because you state that someone else says something doesn’t mean you’re passing it off as fact. Especially when I add quotations. That’s just like dead obvious just reading out a statement. If people read that as fact, that’s their issue. People who have personal issues with Maximilian, that’s their issue also.
I don’t watch the majority of his stuff but he is the literally half the reason anybody who isn’t a hardcore KI fan actually cares about the game. He did a lot of good stuff to put the game in a good light and that I’ll respect. Otherwise I just post things that are out there and possible. It’s up to people to figure out what to do with it.
@darksakul, just like any launch the best thing to do is just make people the test dummies because you’re never going to figure out everything unless you throw it out there. Just like last launch, things will fix themselves and those that don’t want to be around for the glitches can just wait and purchase systems later.
As for MadCatz, I don’t care when they say it, just when they say it it better say “ground shipping from madcatz side will hit doors before or on 22nd”. If it says anything different then fuck that shit.
Killer Instinct thread - Home of any KI news or speculation, Max’s vids are good, Acid glows’s are good keep posting them. The game will be out in 3 weeks, we already know who all the characters are so the main speculation should subside.
That doesn’t mean anything. That’s not how software works. Windows 8 had barely been out for 6 months when E3 happened and whatever team was at E3 or any event was likely already running stuff on win7.
The point was if MS was trying to get the world to think Xbone is so great then why there no actual Xbone consoles being Demo.

MS made a ton of bad moves this launch. Who knows what they are thinking? At least they have a pretty awesome launch and launch window line-up.

If its actual dev kits I concede, if it is like E3 and they still using off the shelf HP desk top PCs then WTF Microsoft.

Most games at E3 are showed of on PC’s. That’s standard practice. Because the games aren’t optimized to run on retail hardware at that point in development. Its been true for years and years.
The X1 road tour used dev models, though not the most recent devkits. And they recently had a preview event using full retail games and retail boxes.
The delay of the MadCatz announcement really worries me. I really hope these sticks are at our doors on time.
I saw the physical Xbox1 machines with my own eyes when the tour was here last weekend. Whether they are dev kits or not I don’t know, but they were the actual machines - i saw them with my own eyes multiple times when they were swapping out machines to put more Killer Instinct machines in play.
And me being a developer in general, I can tell you that anything running in dev mode will run SLOWER/WORSE than running in release mode. So if what we saw was running in dev mode, it can only look better, not worse, in release mode.
Also, from what I’ve read, retail machines ARE dev machines and can be changed to dev machines somehow. How I have no clue, but they can be someway probably with a dev license.
I wonder how many fight sticks MadCatz has to make? What I’m getting from this is that KI is really making waves in the community as everyone wants a fight stick! It’d be a bummer not to have the stick on day 1, but the potential influx of people getting into the FGC because of Killer Instinct makes me happy!

Whenever I see Micro$oft, M$, etc. I know the comment will be stupid and puerile. And I’m not a Microsoft fan by any stretch of the imagination.
What’s worse is Microsoft seems to be the only target of this junk even though every corporation on Earth has a goal of making money. But we don’t see $on¥ or App£€ (not that I want to).
