Capcom does put some effort into the community but have they really listened all that well in regards to patches?
Capcom is close but still distant at the same time. For as many events as they might have hosted they are still not 100 % approachable and it doesn’t feel like they really listen so much as they are simply aware. Not gonna say they give 0 fucks but I don’t get the sense they aim to plz as much.
Nothing new till Gamescom which is like the 3rd week of August. So just gotta wait it out.
Yeah, DH is saving their stuff for events so when characters come out there’s less hearsay and speculation and more hands-on stuff.
They’re probably going to hit every event ever to get this game out though.
First new character is a guy named Master Chief. He’s a dude who fights aliens.
Yeah supposedly FilthieRich is gonna be at summer jam so I’m assuming KI will be there also.

You probably won’t see them for a LOOOONG while. I’m personally hoping the reveals show all the central characters first, before introducing the new fighters, since practically everyone is getting overhauled in their redesign.

idk if this has been mentioned but but around the 35 minute mark of this video they show KI
and at the end of the match (which was not to intense) they highlighted some cool features being game dvr and twitch and the last being Dedicated Servers.
Yeah, they talked about the recording stuff a week ago.
Apparently those are actually standard X1 features (for all games):
-records last 5 minutes of footage (DVR)
-dedicated servers
I actually want to hear alot more about the twitch stuff. Streaming is a boon for fighting games, but I want to see it in action. Like, how many options/features are in the streaming function, will KI add FG specific features/functions, can you play and stream, will it upload to youtube (or the like).
At Gamescom I hope they talk about all that kind of stuff, at least a little, and not just reveal more characters.
Also, I want to see the training mode.
yeah i read alot on the one and KI just dont remember them actually confirming dedicated servers.
training mode has me excited since they say it will go in depth. really happy they showed the teaser for thunder
hope he stays as he was and is not a grappler also keeps that deep voice in the teaser
I really wish the framerate wouldn’t freeze with every hit. The original KI didn’t have this so why include it?
The animation actually looks fairly smooth so why add the freezing…makes combos look stiff and clunky.
They added hit and guardstop, that’s what you are referring to.
While it may not be like old KI, it is standard for most 2D fighting games and actually has alot of positive gameplay applications.
Part of the reason there are no leaks is because this is digital only. A lot of stuff gets leaked when
Histop/Guardstop give you a clear indicator when your attacks hit or get blocked. Its definitely a good thing.
Hmmm I don’t notice it much in modern fighters…why do we even need it we never needed it before.
