It’s funny cause it came out during a similar timeframe too. After a new street fighter, and then a new mk. Although more time has passed, this is great timing on MS’s part. The fighting game scene is strong again. Not mid nineties level but its better than its been in awhile.
I just want to say that I’m glad this thread has moved past the XB1 hate that you see on Eventhubs and the front page.

Man KI was huge back in the day and the only fighter with that much success that never got a sequel so it’s gonna have that impact people have been wanting this for so long and some thought it would never happen
I’m one of those people who thought this would never happen under MS. I figured the only way we’d see a new KI was if NRS or some other random studio would by the rights.
Dude I want the whole cast from KI1 and KI2! Although TJ with the flattop would be hilarious I doubt they’ll bring that back.
Me either, but his design (along with Orchid’s) is what I fear for. Might be in the minority but I liked the Flag Wife Beater with the Camo pants & sneakers. That look might be a bit outdated for this day and age, but I just hope they don’t change him too much.

They might, I see a ton of guys rocking the flattop now. Yesterday after work, I literally saw a Paul Phoenix flattop on this 15 year old looking kid. I had to respect it.

That…is actually friggin awesome! I prefer her Tonfas in KI2 over her Laser Knives, but the design would definitely work in this game.
