As a Nash main, I’d say thats exactly what Urien feels like- Nash with a reversal. Only thing he is lacking is his ability to score a knockdown of light confirms without spending
Not sure what you’re saying but you can still cross-under them with headbutt and do the 100% stun combo easily. There’s a ton of ways to do it as well.
Here’s my old version: https://www.twitch.tv/travallama/v/81942927
Yeah you can’t even meaty SPD / throw Urien if he Reversal LP Headbutts because first 2 frames of wake-up can’t be thrown and if he wakes up with LP headbutt, which is airborne on 3~19F, he’s essentially immune to any meaty ground throws on his wake-up or +2 -> grab situations if he Reversals with LP headbutt in these scenarios.
In the last video, I walk forward slightly (it’s got to be between 1 and 3 frames) before I do the aegis and then I do MK Knee. I used to use lk knee but ran into the same problem you did. Now it’s free.
@Quark@Plaid_Unicorn I’ve updated the frame data .txt file with a few minor corrections and new notes and tweaks, I also added V-skill information for what it does for everyone move. Overall just corrected and improved upon.
1( I’m sure some of you are aware of this already but EX tackle is unsafe on block from close ranges. The second hit is +0, but there’s a gap between the first and second hit that can be DPd through.
I don’t know if somebody already said it, but M headbutt after throw beats 3 framers and can be linked with LK on counter hit. You can therefore do stuff like throw, M headbutt, LK xx L tackle (354/563)
can somebody explain me why when I try to do cr. LK, cr. LP xx EX headbutt many times I get M headbutt instead? The game correctly displays up+LP+MP as the last input. Does it have something to do with negative edge?
Ex.headbutt, f.mp
Cr.hp, h.sphere, ex.tackle, v trigger, f.mp
I use charged hp more in his neutral but I’ve had success with these it works well if you try and mix up these with other stuff like f.hp etc
Off of certain knockdowns you can dash forward, press and hold s.HP, and then release based on their wakeup timing. This can be quite tricky to do but I’m hoping it will become easier with practice.
Knockdowns I’ve tested that let you do this:
HP Headbutt
HK Tackle
EX Headbutt > LK Tackle juggle
Headbutt gives you slightly more knockdown advantage than Tackle so you’ll have to charge s.HP a bit longer.
Get really good at spacing Knee Drop, try and find some good moments to V-Skill, charge fireball when Guile V-Skills, and one Aegis will pretty much shut down his whole V-Trigger if hes does it neutral.
got some tech for you boys. im too lazy to record it so someone else needs to do it
free CH setups that beat 3f
setup
c.hp xx hp ball, hk tackle, c.lk, mk tackle
on normal or back recovery it hits meaty enough to follow up with
s.lp, s.mp xx (whatever)
counter hits 3f reversals but i couldnt find a ch only followup
on no recovery do
s.mp, s.hp
Crush counters 3f reverals. s.hp is -2 on block
