Wake up throw loses. The only wakeup buttons that seem to hit are jab and fierce. You can jump it. Ahh i suppose it’s not that good. But if they do jump you could always catch them out the air with a normal. Mixed up with the none cr.unblockable set up, you have more time to react with to the jump though, be it with a grab, or air to air etc.
for some reason i can do farMP->LP->HP->MP->LP and get LP hands whereas before i always got MP-HP target combo
either it got easier or i got faster

it’s a whiff punish tool more than a poke due to its recovery
so yeah it is a footsie tool
but not like a main poke, its a counterpoke
and crMK hands is still more important to beat focus due to crMK’s better range
farMP just is used a little closer to stuff crouch jabs and whiff punish stuff, but you have to be uncomfortably close sometimes heheh. good thing its safeish knockdown which is kind of absurd.

I have been getting a ton of milage with far.mp today. I am liking the speed boost.
It tends to stuff a fair amount of stuff if used at max range I am finding
I feel like the push back got nerfed on hands since the update, I get hit by every shoto dp even from c.mk length half the time.
Let’s hope not. I actually don’t think it’s too terrible for her to have. Honestly doesn’t feel all that overpowered, but I might not be using it to its full potential. Haha, I just like being able to Stinger FADC U2 consistently.
Also, I should probably rephrase my previous statement about St MP. It’s not so much it’s not a poke as it is I’m not entirely sure how to fit it into my poking game yet. I like it because of how Decap turns her body and just extends her hand, which seems to work almost like a shorter ranged St MK that’s special cancellable. But the range on it seems a bit lacking, so I need to practice with it more to know when to effectively use it. The speed and recovery on it feel nice, plus I don’t have to worry about it being stopped by low immune moves like Rose St HK or MK. Or something anyway, those were just off the top of my head.
It has the same range as cr.mk
Yeah the range is practically identical, what I dislike about s.MP is how extended her hurtbox is on the recovery frames. More situational than anything but it was a somewhat average button that’s been made a lot more useful for almost no reason at all… I’ll take it
In terms of players to watch Hurricane237 took out Louffy in the last big London tournament, and rana really solid game against Ryan Hart. Very solid player, top ranked on XBL…and can’t do cr.mk hands

Wow, really? It doesn’t feel like it at times, but like I said I need to experiment with it more. Mostly looking for things to help me in footsies, especially in matches like Bison and Rose, but I digress. Those are topics for the matchup thread, haha.
