farMP actually has slightly more range than crMK, tested on standing and crouching Ryu.
farMP also has 2 more recovery frames than crMK.

fun, farMK and farHK have slightly more range than farHP

fun fact on some characters it has effectively more range, and some it has less

hurtboxes are weirddddddd

i expected as much

really the important thing is how to use them to whiff punish based on their poke’s hurtboxes
maybe i shuld look at them hitbox viewers

Never had a issue pre patch with akuma or ryus dp. Even could space vs Ken fine. Now it seems unless max max MAX range I get hit.

I can see how the cr.mk hands pushback MIGHT be different now due to the blockstun changes on hands. Would be hard to test if it changed unless someone has both prepatch and patched version replaying the same inputs.

I have a unpatched Xbox and a patched Xbox ill test today.

Also you could just take off the hdd on the Xbox if you wanna try before I get home.

do the same string starting from neutral position(only jump or dash) then take a picture of the distance post block.

Yeah I plan on doing various block string with me cornered pre and post patch so we can see the difference in training squares. I could just be crazy but we will see.

Fyi I play makoto as well, if you psycho stream with your back not close to a corner Makoto can reversal ex hayate and she hits decapre clean as ultra one harmlessly travels past her.

She’s not the only one. I saw Ryan Hart against Knuckledu in Capcom cup just dash up DP with Ryu to beat Psycho Stream. I’ve only been using it after knockdowns for set ups really.

Same string Ryu hits 100% of the time. I’m assuming same with Akuma as I was getting hit by his light dp quite a bit. This makes the shoto match more a pain now. I’m gonna test more variations with Akuma and Ken and some other block strings.

It’s still realistic to space it correctly, I just never had to consider it until the patch.

Yeah from max range which sucks, but at least we know now.

Thank you RagingStormX for testing this. Guess its time to go full teleport style decapre. If it works it Europe, it can work here.
