Ammy has a hard time converting off of most hard knockdowns now. Unless you’re aware enough to juggle them off of a stray Vajra hit, it’s only good for grounding them so you can do some mix-ups. You can OTG with glaive dive but then you’ve already used your ground bounce.
Does this character have an infinite/semi-infinite or high damage no meter kill combo in Level 3 X Factor? I didn’t see anything on the first page.
Also for the Glaive combo, do you start charging Glaive as soon as you spike them, or land and then jump back up and do charged thunder edge?
Sorry for the kind of noob questions guys, I like this character a lot and really want to make her work on my team.
In level 3 you just want to confirm anything to dash up glaive 6HHHH xN. It’s pretty easy when you get it down. Easiest way is to confirm whatever to j.qcfH, air weapon change if necessary, and then falling j.H.
Not really as soon as you spike them, you need to stagger it a bit, but it is on the way down. You want to land just after the attack comes out.
Thanks a lot for the help guys. Last night my friend showed me an easier variation of the Thunder Edge bnb, where after the S you jump straight up and do j.M, j.M, df H (fully charge thunder edge) xx QCF S xx OKami Shuffle.
Ammy is a lot of fun! She completes my Deadpool/Iron Man team really well and I look forward to playing her more.
Does anyone have any Veil of Mist loops? Either with Ammy, or hardtagging?
I’m runnin’ Viper/Doom/Ammy and Jill/Doom/Ammy if that helps any.
I’d say try out the loops you’d find in XF1/XF2. I doubt any of us has actually gotten to the point of developing VoM combos unfortunately. The only ones I’ve seen were in a Morrigan combo video (using VoM for Soul Drain combos).
Generally you can hard tag to someone after a ground bounce in VoM to continue a combo. Maybe something along the lines of the Vanilla DHC glitch would work but the HSD from the previous combo would hurt any followup afterwards.
Phoenix has a veil of mist loop involving hard tagging and her level 1 hyper

I have a combo I do out of Bionic Lancer DHC Veil of Mist. Should work any time you can DHC extremely early in a combo, but Lancer is probably the most… Overtly useful. Starts at about 1:49:

Unfortunately I never want to combo into Veil of Mist with ammy, I put it down at neutral to restrict the opponent most of the time. My inclination if I get a hit not too far into the combo is to quickly launch into j.[:h:] j.[:h:] |> :s: j.:qcf::h: j.[:h:] |> :qcf:[:l:].

At this point… My combos are looking the same… Just minor things being changes to make ‘new’ variations.
It can also be done with a Solar Flare starter of “j.H, M-H-c.H-(Weapon Change M)-M-S”

Seems you can get 600k with solar Flare midscreen. [S]May be for larger characters[/S], but still. I just got 607,600 damage on Dormammu with a simple combo midscreen.
-Got 600,700 on Firebrand after a few tries.
You could probably fit a little more damage by doing a low charged H into charged L thunder edge into the fwd H instead of just a falling heavy into the fwd H.
Pretty sure I’ve done that already. But it isn’t consistent for myself, so I finally decided to see what I could do with just j.H after QCF+H in Glaive stance. I’m just uploading small combos I havent done yet at this point.
