Yeah abit further than sweep range. The range where you know Mika wants to charge that drop kick or jump. She has a floaty jump so it’s not that hard to AA, the only hard thing is that she can bait a DP by doing the body splash which stops her forward jump momentum

yeah, she comes down and does a splash! Is c.HP reliable against her jumping down attack? Because it’s kinda hard reacting to a jump in or body splash.
Picturing the situation in my head I’d say use cr.hp at the range it would connect with a forward jump, if she were to come down with a splash I’m sure you could sweep the recovery. But I’d have to test it to see if that works. Maybe even st.mk for both options but I feel it’d trade

It’s really weird that a guy this high didn’t adapt and kept pressing buttons.
He knows Rashid’s best punishes and can pressure with him, but that was definitely an absence of defense on both sides. Good on you for yolo’in him to death lol

Played in the Grand Finals at a local tournament and got 1st place. I’ve been trying to figure out how to play again Birdie when the Birdie player isn’t a complete idiot and I’ve been starting to have a little bit of success. Compared to this trainwreck in our week 1 tournament I did much better but looking back I need to do a better job in some areas.
It’s more an issue that a lot of the punishes and situations aren’t quite second nature to me just yet so when I am playing a player who actually requires a lot of thought to beat I start missing things I normally hit against players who are much more predictable. Even things as simple as neutral jumping the “FREE BIRDIE!” so I can get a punish.
