I guess it’s okay. What situations did you had in mind using this? The only thing that comes to my mind is whiffed DPs, but it never made me feel like Cr.Fierce was a good choice unless I had super in stock (Low Fierce xx V-Skill… Jab DP xx Super) since it was the most damaging super setup I could find from whiffed DPs. Forward Tatsu might be more consistent for that instead of Jab DP since timing is strict, so I might probably mess around with it when I get the chance. If it’s anything outside super, then I would imagine most of the damage would be coming from St.Fierce CCs primarily.
The second combo I listed in V-Trigger does 360 damage. Also you can do EX Tatsu in place of EX DP outside of V Trigger it will carry them from mid screen to the corner while still doing about 263.

I have trouble using vtrigger with Ken… i wish it didn’t dash so i could just activate like ryu/nash etc. so many games end with full trigger
Are there any safe ways to activate without getting a hit first?
i also wish you could practice activating it in training mode and not have to wait for it to auto refill each time
also dont see an easy way to combo it after dp. using medium dp like a lot. hp dp is horrid
Press start and go to the reset option after you activate it. And yeah fireball is the better option for comboing into it. Mp.srk is the better dp to use for canceling into,but I do recommend using fireball instead. It keeps them standing so you can link into other things like target combos and whatnot.
He’s not bad just setup based. I don’t know how he will do when people start actually playing neutral and he can’t rely on his godlike anti-airs but he isn’t tier below everyone else thanks to those 50/50 setups i posted. I could flesh them out but i’ll wait to release.
Small buff to b. MP would be nice though shit you not point blank fireball because they dashed into it activated into v-trigger and the fucker whiffed. Fuck that move.
Be honest i’m actually holding my own against good player now with just whiff punishing, anti-airs, and stuff. Hard to hit the MK tatsu party starter sometimes but think i need to adjust other combo’s I’m still in Cammy mode so keep doing dumb stuff, but you really have to play honest against Ken which is a good thing.
The thing to keep in mind is that i’m not shitting you one CC into MK tatsu into ambiguous jump in is the round. He stuns them and they die. Considering they can’t reversal either that is a really strong option.
Remember to do dash throw and dash->cr. forward and dash->cr. MP in the neutral when far away guys. Shit works, 15f dash is amazing.
He’s also -2f after a st. RH -> run on hit so it is worthless without CC.
Guys this is the first time im actually not enjoying myself. It seems like Kens normals all get stuffed by I dunno half the cast? I’m not some pro player that can just mixup like crazy and be unique every round. How the hell do you safe poke with Ken? I mean I think he is very mediocre now. He can just punish the crap out of u.
