I like the hairstyle but I feel like it’s the texture and color that is the problem. It’s just such a flat yellow and looks like clay rather than hair. Other than that, I really like the design. It gives me faith that they’ll be able to give other characters updated designs that look good.
Looked a bit more at the trailers. He does a flaming air-tatsu that doesn’t launch at one point, followed by a flaming air-tatsu that DOES launch afterwards. The latter one is definitely an EX, the former seems to be when he has his V-trigger activated. He also does an EX tatsu - dash under - jab reset earlier as well.
I was about to say “I’m not sure how I like the fact that characters have reliable air approaches”, but then I remembered that AAs actually seem to be a lot more consistent in this game than in SF4, so that might very well be a non-issue.
Oro is an Helio Gracie tribute, the arm thing is probably an hint to his legendary fight against Masahiko Kimura

Why can’t it just be ROLL for the V-skill and RUN rather than the generic Dashing.
The special moves is entirely better and staying classy but brings new gameplay experience.
I hope his HP Shoryuken on ground hit never knocked down but cause stagger and push similar to SSF2 when not so close but manage to hit.
I liked all the fighters facial designs than the SF4 Direction.
I hoped they change his LK Tatsu to something different and better. But keeping his MK the same

I hoped they would change his crouching normals Kicks act differently than he was before to make him completely EVOLVE:**

I hope capcom has think of this.
If they change how the normals are implemented on a shoto that would really make them act and played very differently even with similar stances of animation in special moves.
Of all the characters i’ve seen in SFV, Ken looks the most interesting to me. His V-Skill makes his playstyle a lot more offense and seems to give him interesting combos opportunities. EX air tatsu seems to launch people or make them stay grounded depending on how many hits of the ex tatsu actually connect. So yeah, offensive, combo heaving and flashy, i like him already. His face and play-doh hair could use some work though.
