I’m pretty sure that I remember myself doing a neutral j.mp which can also beats Bison head stomps. I’m not sure if it beats the EX version though
I don’t know if this is a known combo to work in the corner (I haven’t read all of this thread) but on what I assume are wide body characters (Tested only on Balrog, Guile, Cody, T-Hawk and Sagat so far) you can land a heavy jump attack (HK, HP and deep infront and cross up jumping medium kick tested so far) then close standing medium kick, crouching heavy punch into SRK, Tatsu, fireball FADC (which will let you link close standing roundhouse in the corner) with what ever finisher you want.
Deals tons of damage and massive stun and i actually linked into U1 full animation on Cody after using the fireball FADC ender. Also this works mid-screen (tested against Cody so far) and with Fireball FADC will let you link sweep. I’ll continue to test tonight and see who what work on.

A 17 frame forward dash would do a lot more for this character than getting a 7 frame start up on sweep. He was midtier in Super and the reason he shot up to top 10 was because he got buffed (far standing LP hit box, cr.MP recovery, LP SRK 120, ex fireball etc) while everyone else got nerfed pretty badly.
Changing his dash from 18 frames to 17 would change HP SRK FADC to +4 and his level 2 focus attack to +2 on block +5 similar to Fei Long
This dash speed increase would make him a better rush down character than Ryu, Akuma, Sakura etc
here is an example of some new FADC combos that would be possible
cr.HP > HP SRK > FADC > cr.MK > HK tatsu
cr. HP > Fireball > FADC > cs.HK > HK Tatsu/HP SRK (this one does 500 stun)
You guys might want to look at how fast everyone else’s dashes are to see what I’m talking about when I say this is a bigger buff than his cr.HK being sped up. There are only 5 characters who have a 17 frame or less dash none of them have a projectile AND a DP
Still would prefer a better back dash and be able to combo from his Thunder Kick without the counter hit.
These 2 changes would make Ken soooooooo much more fun to play imho.

In the current version of the game I would love for him to have a faster sweep, but if they end up making changes to blocking which I’m sure they will, the sweep will not do as much for him unless they leave it -6 on block. -7 is highly punishable.
A better back dash would be a huge buff
Thunder kick +3 on hit would also be a pretty damn good buff though since you can plink cr.LK but I like the idea for sure
That’s the truth Shoryusengan. Though I don’t think people understand, Capcom intentionally makes Ryu better than Ken. In terms of being more balanced than Ken [Able to do various things better].
You guys might as well compare Honda and Blanka these two different characters and Ryu has not been better than Ken in every game. Have you even played SF3?
I’m on your side bro, I have SF third strike and ken is slightly better than Ryu. The main reason for that is that projectiles mean nothing in Third Strike. Despite that one exception [which is still debatable], Ryu has always been a better character than Ken because of his balanced tools.

yeah ken definitely should be buffed but i think capcom need to be careful because he could easily become too good depending on what they do. In reference to ken being better than ryu in third strike yeah that’s true he was really good I don’t need that ken in sf4 however, i feel like all of the shoto’s are stronger than him and can easily place in top 8 at tournaments if played well. Unfortunately to place top 8 with ken I think would be waaay too hard seeing he doesn’t have anything to go to really. i know he has kara but it can be tech easily so i don’t consider this viable in tournament play whereas sakura has tatsu ryu has solar plexus, akuma has well…its akuma etc. in UK it’s so hard to place with Ken and I can’t imagine how much grinding DRS MCZ Chris has to do in order to stay at the level of the other top players in U.S. I guess my main “WANT” is for when on the vs screen the opponent sees Ken he has to think “crap what sort of Ken player is this or I need to be careful of XY&Z” like people think when they see ryu or akuma or sakura or sagat etc. I just feel when I play top players they don’t really get scared when they see Ken, they just think “tech late and watch out for frame traps” and that’s it hehe. put it this way it has taken me AAAAGEEES of struggling and grinding on xbx live to reach 15900bp and get above 4k pp with ken but when I pick dudley or yun or ibuki it’s really easy to win. not saying dudley is better than ken but he has a “go to” when you’re knocked down etc. I don’t know i’m probably ranting lol but i’ll most likely put out a video today or tomorrow explaining my feelings towards this
