I know what you mean Hogosha, matchups are more important thats part of the reason why Im happy I choose ZSS, nothing worse than a 7-3 and both of the characters that have that I have friends who play them, and I agree that 7-3 is wholly deserved. But many ppl under estimate her about 1/2 the ppl say when I pick ZSS ohh lol ZSS she sucks, then after being destroyed cause they never played a ZSS before they whine about how broke she is when their there sitting on MK or Snake.
Alot of ppl I know have quite a few alts so I get pretty good practice mainly cause we don’t like overlapping mains/alts with the others though it does happen, but we got most of the cast except a few ppl at bottom.
also my prob with yoshi isn’t his recovery or his attacks they arn’t bad and he has some good stuff especially if ppl haven’t played him, but his guard is just too terrible for me.
zoo…I’m sorry but I’m gonna have to agree right now that you’re taking that list entirely too seriously. Why is it bugging you so on something that Keits was requested to do so on what HE THOUGHT. You’re making it sound as if that list that was put up was official and that’s that.

I take tier lists into consideration…but at the same time I play only who I’m interested in playing because for me it motivates me more to be better with a character that I enjoy or like than someone I picked just because they were high tier. Tiers don’t have any psychological on me personally. I find it more amazing when people stand up against the odds even if they have a high chance of losing.
I simply pointed out how keits posted up a tier list without saying it was just his guess not anything more until a later post and implied my opinion was wrong because I didn’t have tournament footage to prove it.
From my experience as an mk user items doesn’t change much I still win or lose just as many matches against the same people online or off aib or not and I concur with the rest who say glidetoss is awesomesauce.

Posted before he posted the tier list. He already mentioned any tier lists he posted would be a best guess, at best. I like saying the word best, fuck you its my birthday.
Yes, a lot of people are affected by these lists. They think that they loose because they cannot go further with certain characters. And tif they loose with top tiers they know their chars are good so they think they just have to improve.
Many people are worried about their character position on the tier list. They want to know how good or bad they characters are. Free your mind folks :wgrin:
I think people also take match ups to deep into their minds. So tier lists and matchups imprison your minds on what you can accomplish. Even if you still pick a character and defy those things, on each victory or defeat it will affect you somehow (more or less satisfaction). I still believe it is more evil than good =P
No one needs to make up tier lists. They don’t serve any real purpose.
If they’re defined enough to exist in any worthwhile manner, they’ll make themselves apparent.
If not, then they don’t matter enough to warrant the effort.
the biggest prob I have with tier listing is the whole you only won cause your character beats mine, or if you win someone against who should beat you they say yeah but if you played someone who knew what they were doing you would get crushed so you shouldn’t play your character and should play insert top character(s) here, Its in every game with tiers, in smash though ppl seem to be like this alot.
