So you have tournament footage showing how he’s not toptier in all brawl? without items he is tops so the burden of proof is on you to show that he’s brought down with items.
Shut the fuck up, zoo.
How about that he’s won fewer All-Brawl tournaments than anyone listed above him?
That list is a ‘best guess’ list based on what I know and what I’ve seen happen, and I threw it together on request in about 20 minutes. Nothing more.
So what it’s like to not know the definition of logic?
So you’re saying that tidbit makes it okay for him to claim mk moves down to midtier simply due to the introduction of items? And this is assuming that enough of these all brawl tournaments have been held with enough players involved to get a sizable grasp of how items affects the current tiers which may be the case but I highly doubt.
EDIT:
Okay and my best guess is that mk will still end up tops even with items and my opinion being based off simply using mk in all brawl matches.
I’d put Samus and Zero Suit Samus at mid-mid for differing reasons, but both of them do well with battering items, have decent throwing arms, and can break Smash Balls with relative ease. Samus is fucking retarded with the Beam Sword. I have her with the Weavel sticker in SSE because of it. I mean, sheeeeeit.
Zoo -
You are one lacking logic, demanding burden of ‘proof’ on a best guess list. Retard.
Plus, I put him in mid-high, and expressly stated that I think all the characters are much closer together in all-brawl. Retard.
I wouldn’t say MK moves down that much at all in items matches. His non-item tools are still amazing and he can take just as much advantage of the items as everyone else can. His matchups hardly become worse, they just become much closer.
The only thing that’d move him below a char like Snake is due to his Final Smash being horrible in 1v1. Thing’s even worse than Marth’s; at the very least Marth’s is a guarunteed KO if it hits. MK…not so much.
Then again, it’s theory fighter. We’ll see how your guesses hold up once this has been going up a while. I’ll predict a number of them are gonna be right; just not this one.
Your best guess, unlike Keits’s, is uneducated, just like every opinion you’ll ever have. Besides, you don’t care about Brawl. You’re too busy jerking off to Gears of War 2, Mirror’s Edge, Dead Space, and Fallout 3. Remember?
Carbunkle - I may well be wrong, but I talked it over with AlphaZealot at SB3 and we both seemed to agree that MK got it worst when items were turned on. I have yet to see a really successful MK in all-brawl tournament play. They do well… as well as the other characters in upper mid, but they are not making top 8/5/3 at all, depending on bracket size.
I will admit MK is a hell of a lot easier to deal with when you have the kind of options items provide. As a Jigglypuff my options go from ‘hope to get him off the stage so I can attempt to WOP’ to ‘zone with thrown item, go for a fan kill, trap him outside the corner with my FS’ etc depending on how the spawns go. I just think MK’s options grow just as much.
But we’ll see. My opinion is hardly accurate on the matter since I only fight MK in casuals and people play quite differently once something’s on the line.
Once people get really good with items, I bet all sorts of funky stuff will happen to the way characters are currently viewed.
Not only have you indisputably proven you don’t you know the definition of logic, but you don’t have the faintest grasp of time nor can you read at all it’s so easy pointing out how stupid some people are.
And for others pointing out the fault in their logic is even easier:rofl:
Why don’t you go back to posting in black so you don’t do anyone the disservice of exposing them to you? Get your head out of your own ass and maybe, maybe you’ll mean something to someone other than your boyfriend. Until then, welcome to my ignore list. No one likes you. No one ever will.
I’m a Jigglypuff main but I’m curious about everyone’s opinion on Yoshi’s Final Smash. Also, while Mario’s FS sorta sucks, I’ve noticed that it seems to work best on larger, heavier characters–as if it were specifically designed to gimp Bowser and Nintendo forgot to make it usable against the rest of the cast.
All I know about MK with items is that he has a beastly glide toss, but that is about it. His FS I think wouldn’t be too bad either (definitely not the best and I don’t think as bad as implied by guess tier list made either) and his really good stats will still be there with items on. I can imagine that his weight can be more of a problem since items not only can rack up damage/kill him faster than with no items, but the items themselves can help players get around his priority and speed by item zoning and properties.
Definitely more time is needed, especially in a mode that is not widely as played.
What he said. Remember how good Lucas was when Brawl first came out?
Also, I personally think (and will always think) that Peach is a tier lower than she needs to be.
Why are players so obssessed with tier lists?? Come on. play your character the best you can and that’s it…
All-Brawl is very balanced… If there are tiers, there are like 3 tiers at most… But because there are 35 characters you want to divide it in top, up-high, medium high, medium low bla bla, etc XD
There are probably about 3 tiers in All Brawl… gifted chars (metaknight, snake), normal chars and messed up chars (C.Falcon, Ganondorf). As I said on the SWF , tiers lists create a terrible psychological effect on players… stop that “#$”##"$!
Tiers lists create a terrible psychological effect on players who misinterpret the tier list and it’s purpose. It should be common sense that one should not choose a character (or give up on a character) based on their position in a tier list. but unfortunately a lot of people do this anyway…
Come on. play your character the best you can and that’s it…
What does that have to do with tier lists?

Mario - Worst Final Smash? Otherwise okay.
whoa, all the way down there? I figured his cape would move him up a bit…
Also, I suggest that everyone check out this topic I’ve made about glide tossing: http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=167448
It shows what glide tossing is and also the lengths of each characters’ glide tosses. It’s extremely helpful in All-Brawl, use it to it’s full potential =]
I know what you mean about tier lists causing psyc damage, I have never seen so much fear of a character as ppl have of MK, it seems worse than #R eddie and 3S Chun/Yun however without nearly as much claim for that fear. So many scrubs I run into main MK cause he is the best, without realizing that a character has to fit your fighting style, or you have to have the right mindset, a good MK player isn’t going to think lol Im top tier and my moves are unpunishable cause they know that while difficult to punish they are punishable, and as the skill of the MK player increases normally the less broke they think he is(they still think he is the best of course)
@Hogosha: Peach is a tricky character thus they will always be underrated. But yeah peach is pretty insane and fun /runs off to play as peach.
I usually look at the match-ups more than the tiers if I have to make the decision to change mains. For example, when I started playing Melee, I mained Yoshi. As I got better, so did everyone else around me, including the Sheik player in town. After a certain point, I don’t think my Yoshi beat him more than once (if even). I can’t handle a counterpick that makes my match 9-1. I could handle 7-3 (Fox) or even the occasional 8-2 (Peach), but Sheik and Ice Climbers owned Yoshi 9-1 and with everyone and their dog playing Sheik at tourneys I ended up playing Peach more than I played Yoshi. And I was a better player with Yoshi than I ever was with Peach (I like Peach, picked her before I realized she was broke as hell).
Same thing happened with 3rd Strike. Switched mains a lot and ended up sticking with Twelve for the longest time, but when I have a 2-8 match-up against Yun, Ken AND Makoto and a 3-7 against nearly everyone else in the upper half I had to go back to maining Elena and keeping Twelve as a secondary after so many defeats. Really, when people play you with CHUN and have to pick Ken AFTER you beat them…heck I had a guy highlight Chun and, when he saw I picked Twelve, he scrolled down to Ken. I had a guy on here lose to me with Ken in a money match (he mains Chun) and then picked Makoto (my least favorite Twelve counter) as a SECOND COUNTERPICK. When stuff like that happens that nearly grants me an automatic loss…I need to reevaluate who I main.
The only advantage to tier list psychology is, when someone picks top-tier, I know how to deal with it. Hell, they usually get kind of afraid of me when I throw out Yoshi/Twelve/Jun/Asuka/Dizzy/Elena 'cause they don’t know what the hell to expect. So it can work to the low-tier player’s advantage, too.
