Its going pretty good. I seem to keep missing you online, but its understandable all things considered. Hope your getting your practice in. Between getting my ass handed to me in Punch Out by Don Flamenco of all characters, trying to learn how to play bionic commando, and just trying to live life, Im practicing hard on my Vega game. I also need to work on my Axl Low in Guilty a bit more. I just hope that what Im learning in GGXXACPlus transfers over to GGXXAC ok.
Just try having a 16 hour D&D play session with 4 other burly dudes and a crabby DM in an Apt with no A/C in the middle of summer. The accumulated funk of B.O., cigarette smoke, and pizza grease can really get to a person. @@ Yet you still playwhy? Because its soooo much fun! ^^
Hmmm that could explain the difficulties just getting on. I remember similar issues with Brawl back when I only had the 1 comp and the Wii. The Time Warner guy strongly suggested hard wiring my game consoles irregardless of whether or not they had wifi capabilities. It had something to do with the fact that they give out really cheap Wifi routers and those routers could only handle one Wifi connection at a time. Ill make the appropriate adjustments, test it out and the DNS solution as well.
Not to mention the codpiece action on C.Viper! Lol Also, Im beginning to think that gravity is starting to wear on Chun-Lis chest. If you watch closely, youll notice that either her boobs are sagging or she really needs to cage those puppies with a more proper fitting bra

You’re in consideration Vince, but having multiple entries on different teams would be a BAD idea, think of the different combinations STL could come up with. Every team in the top eight would have Rex in it.
I’m hitting up Warrensburg on Saturday to play some people out there. Gotta get the FOUNDER leveled up, his Abel is showing flashes of brilliance. It would be nice to have more people come out to Chachitown Fair so I wouldn’t have to drive an hour to hookups, but I gotta go where the action is I guess…
I would be at all these hookups if my work Schedule didn’t suck so bad.

GGs to Courtney, Sean, Dave and Josh last night in the 'burg, seems like everybody’s getting burned out on SF4. That game is almost too forgiving, while Accent Core kicks your ass if you don’t have your frame data down. Hopefully BlazBlue will find a sweet spot in the middle of both extremes.
Only pussies that aren’t winning are getting burned out, Drew. If those guys were pitching a fit about having to play SF4 at hookups, it’s because they can’t hang. In Courtney’s case, it’s not even his fault, but the others have no excuse except they’re trash. I suck too, but I’m not crybabying about the game, I’m just getting my head mashed in until I get better.
We wouldn’t even have these epic hookups without SF4. You guys better quit your tearing and start studying.
I agree that Blazblue will probably be amazing. That and T6BR have me psyched for fighting games later this year.
BTW, A-Kon was pretty much awesome. The gameroom had around 200 people or so in it at any time, and the SF4 interest was out of control. More players around those setups than any other game. I did get a kick out of this scenario:

Too funny. Although I did meet a couple REALLY good Guilty players and upped my game a bit. Oh yeah, and Kong placed 3rd in the 64 man SF4 tournament they had. The TV’s lagged and dude didn’t even bring his stick. Oh well, it was still fun.

Gg?s indeed at the J-Spot/Spottswood Coliseum Friday! Big ups to Jspot on the Pizza run, it was tasty! The chill-axing later in the night watching those tourney vids was very educational as well, not mention a good way to end the night.
Stuff I learned Friday night:
- I need to calm the fuck down when the Rolling crystal flash is rolling across the screen. This is NOT Marvel. Those extra button presses will NOT give me more hits?(read: STOP MASHING :mp: VINCE!!!)
- Ex wall dive does NOT work as anti-air tactic. Claw is quite vulnerable on the way up.
- Lvl 2 or 3 FADC, hold :r: , :hp:, :hp:, then :db:+hk, and then Ex wall dive is a very rewarding combo and does decent damage. However, it doesn?t register as a combo and has a methodical pace which requires NO MASHING and PRECISE timing.
- Gotta remember, j.:mk: is NOT a good jump-in with Claw. Use j.:hp: or j.:hk: instead.
- I think I owe Ben-ra $20… His advice to jump straight up in certain situations has saved my life more than once. Plus, if you hit :hk: late as you land you do a nice flippy thing that can combo into other things very easily to setup another chip combo.
- No matter how much I think I?ve leveled up, there?s always someone who has leveld up at least 2x as much since last I played them.
- I truly suck at 3rd Strike, but I always have fun playing. :bgrin:

I agree, which is why I carry around that SF4 guide to hookups these days. If anyone wants to peruse it, they are more than welcome. Also, I am partially hard of hearing, so if you have a question to ask of me, please speak up. I?m afraid I may have offended some this past Friday when questions were asked of me and/or advice was given and I didn?t respond. My apologies, I really do need to get my hearing checked again… or learn how to read lips, lol.
