Change of date for MO? Guess I’m OK w/ that. I would ask if there’d be a BBCS tourney, but it’s probably better not to have it this early. The game will have just been released and it’d probably be better for people to have more time to mess around w/ it, and it’s probably not a good idea to add a game to a tourney’s lineup at the last second anyway
On a different note, I may not be able to attend this Friday, and if I do I’m gonna be showing up late. If I do show up I expect to lose my $5 in the RR and then play GG all night, I want to learn that game even after BBCS comes out. FakeSean, John, Deron, Le, any of you guys up for GG that night?
And on the topic of GG, ASW is announcing something the 23rd. Hopefully it’s a new GG

I would be totally up for GG if I was going to be there Friday. I’m out of town all weekend which is why I am glad John moved the Maxout date.
Also that hori stick you just posted, jspot and Roblox both brought one back from EVO so there were 2 in attendance tonight. They are pretty much sex in arcade stick form.
oh and Nick, as for my statement tonight…I stand by it. You miss a link you get what, tornado thing that is safe? I miss a link I get ultra to the face. The damage I take off of a slight mess up is massively more than you take when you make one. You guess a jump correctly you get j.RH->Ultra, I guess a jump correctly i get…air throw? DP that does 120 damage? DP->FADC->U1 for a heavily scaled output and 2 meter? It’s the nature of the game and I have no reason to be salty about it but, that doesn’t make my statement false. I firmly believe that me playing mediocre will lose me 1000 more matches then you playing mediocre, neither of us should ever play mediocre but when it happens, its far more apparent on my side.

I’m not sure i was up that many games against you but i think it was enough to attempt to troll you. but seriously it’s good to play against you jspot, we keep it serious and comical at the same time.
@GetThere, I was actually going on a little streak against you, then you went on like an 8 game streak, then it went back and forth again, I would have to say i’m starting to learn a bit more about the rufus match up. example, the dive kick/option selecting, appreciate the info, but come on psycho punisher gets hit by already running space opera symphony lol
Overall I’m feeling a lot more confident in my gameplay and can’t wait for the rr this friday.
Boxy - stand by it all you want, bro. I have a lot of bullshit to deal with in that match up too. I would guess j.rh less if you punished it better. High reward, low risk isnt a hard decision. I don’t mash ex messiahs in between all your links, contrary to what you believe and I still need 3 bars to punish you with ultra. You just think the grass is greener on this side and the fact of the matter is the dog shits in my yard too. I’ll be more than happy to discuss the finer points of the match up with you but I hardly get away with playing mediocre. And if you really think Rufus is so much better off then take it up with Mago and Nemo, some of the best players in Japan and possibly the world.
Chad - Good shit tonight. Imma be in the lab to try and figure out how to deal with Bison’s jumping fp. You’re getting a ton better but you still have a lot of bad habits, mainly jumping too much. Your offense is decent and you were doing a good job punishing but you need to work on footsies. It seems like you have a lot of problems from mid range. Keep up the good work.
here’s an outsiders opinion.
cammy v rufus…cammy’s favor. anyone who thinks differently sucks with cammy or doesnt know how the match up is actually like.
I never said it was a bad match up for me. I have liked the match up since vanilla. It was more me bitching about my own execution problems compared to that of Nick’s. We both have execution problems but Nick misses a link it doesn’t matter, I miss a link I get hit with ultra. Yeah yeah, don’t miss links right?
and Nick, I know it takes 3 bar to hit me with ultra after messiah kick, not what I was referring to. I was referring to step kick->ultra after any spiral arrow since all my links end with spiral arrow.
You can choose to hit confirm with lp, lk, lp, SA but you don’t always. If you don’t hit confirm and fuck up a combo that’s on you. The hardest combo I see you do is cr.fp, cr.mp xx SA and that’s 3 frames between the fp and mp. My BnB is a one frame link and it ends safe (-2) but I don’t get to hit confirm unless I do s.lk x2 and that doesn’t always work depending on distance. Oh yeah, and half of the SA’s that I ultra are just SA’s that you toss out there and I happen to block, ones that aren’t in combos. Also, I think yesterday is the first time I’ve ever seen you fadc an unsafe SA.
So, whatever, you can be salty that I have a safe ender to my combos on block but when it comes down to it, this is all shit you can avoid and Cammy has her share of bullshit that I have to deal with too.
In short, BOO FRICKEN HOO.
