Probably, i started playing pretty serious for a few months before sf4 dropped and not at all since then. Have you seen high level japanese play? I forgot what their game is called (same thing, just like pokemon pl) but man…they crazy. Droppin that dookie all over the screen.
:DD catgirl… we got pokemon puzzle on download play, and im at gary super hard (the hardest difficulty) im almost disgusted at what im competing with. but it would be nice to actually play another human at my skill for once!! XD

John- Thank you for allowing me to humor you in Tekken. I should be able to defend properly in that game by the time I’m 40.
Kong- Props on the Cammy. I got hit by the crossup way too much. I feel like that matchup is a little in Cammy’s favor, both sides have ways out of the vortex but Akuma has a harder time getting his offense in.
Real Sean- props on the pizza, too bad I missed out on the SNK.
Notorious- That Bison is coming along, just lame that shit out. You get mash happy during block strings with Adon, although it did look like you were option selecting a little bit when you were catching me with the low short. I should have baited a lot more, you went for straight reversal knees when I tried catching your low shorts with cr. mid punch frame traps.
Allen was right about U2 though, better to just practice demon setups since nobody here is dumb enough to get hit by roflcopter shenanigans.

Excellent hookup. I had a blast. I got to play so much much my arms were numb this morning, and that is a good thing.
First off, I’d like to say grats to the champ. Kong defended 5-4 against my Ryu. Went down to the very last round, very very close. What’s more, he did this with Cammy. Now before people start jumping up and down about sick that is, I’d like to bring up that he is practicing Cammy to COUNTER shoto. It seems to have paid off, because Kong is playing her like he was always meant to do so… very natural.
Again, good stuff on a close match my friend. We’ve both improved a lot, but it seems you are always that one little step ahead of me. :china:
Nick1time - I’m so, SO glad you are playing Sim and Blanka now. And what’s more, you’re doing it very well. I’m seeing the bullshit that I would see out of Scamp, or Rex, and this is so important to me. Thanks a lot for the matchup experience, even when I’m tearing, bitching, rueing those fuckers, I need it, and I love it. Good stuff meng.
Chad - Holy shit we FINALLY played. Your Bison is impressive. You and Le are very close, actually. He makes better decisions than you, but you seem to have better combos/execution. Get at me again, it shouldn’t take this long before we play again.
Dave - I can’t express how much I hate the bear, and your playstyle. However, it seems to be effective in neutralizing the new guys (for now.) I will truly love it with all my heart the day Deron legitimately surpasses you with pure skill, when that desperate and paranoid playstyle of yours no longer works. However, until that day comes, you rule in silver chair. Unless Sean has anything to say about it, but that dude hasn’t played serious Tekken in a minute.
Deron - Keep your head up. You are improving whether you see it or not. I’ve said it a hundred times, and I’ll probably have to continue pounding it in there. Tekken is the hardest game that is played in tournaments man… it’s the hardest for a reason… and like Nin said… takes years to master your character. You’re well on your way.

Yo good games John like forreal, Idk what the problem was but i just couldn’t finish. kinda upsetting but it felt good knowing I’ve improved since our first fight. I need to work on my ultra execution, but you weren’t goin for the ryu m. kick to hadouken, and i’ve been practicing that since like wednesday tryin to counter that.
and Kong gg’s with cammy man, got a few wins and tried to not jump as much which i think helped a lot. Been trying to practice footsies more and i think it’s finally payin off. I’m def feelin a lot more confident for maxout this next weekend. can’t wait, and Catgirl fanatic we still runnin teams?

SFxT… meh, I dunno. Doesn’t sound like the greatest concept imo. I’d rather the games just remain separate. I also thought the ultras they showed looked stupid as hell.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone wanted to be on my team for SSF4 teams. I think the last SF4 tournament I entered I tied at 9 out of 20 with lame ass vanilla Vega, so that’s something to think about :tup:

GS last night guys. I’m having a lot of fun messing with new characters. I’m in competitive SF limbo right now. I’m not even sure I’m ready to get back into it with Rufus so soon but it’d be a shame to sit out Max Out. Hopefully a little Rufus time off is just what I needed.
