the game i played was a lot more fast paced. and i could possibly bring a setup if anyone was interested. the game looks a little like this at high level play: [media=youtube]H2L-nJV-EkQ[/media] which is what i play at needless to say! just have to ignore the flavor of the game a bit >_<

Feels good to be back heavy on the grind. Over and over I kept thinking maybe it was time to try new characters, but I’ve actually begun to dive way deeper into my own. Really hitting that Tekken grind too. Once upon a time Law was my one and only main, and bringing him back has been a real pleasure.
Wish I could attend the hookup tonight, but by the time it starts heating up, I’m out the door. Have fun gents.
As far as puzzle games, I’m fairly confident at Tetris DS. And pretty much anything on Brain Age. If anyone wants to play a Tetris DS money match, let me know.
Yo Alex, convince her to go to the matinee on the weekend and go see it at the iMax. You get the iMax price for cheaper and a better over all experience. Plus you get to attend the hookups. Everyone wins.

I wish this was the case too. I really like TvC but there isn’t much reason to play it when no one plays it locally. You can’t really level up and the online play, is really, REALLY, bad. Friend matches are better but there is still lag. Capcom netcode + Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection = complete garbage online play.
Everyone I’ve talked to has been pretty hype for Marvel. People didn’t play TvC because they didnt have Wiis or didnt want to buy Wii sticks. We’re not going to put any serious work into games we can’t practice at home. I think we’ll see a big Marvel 3 KC scene.

GOOD shit to Jesserugi and his Ibuki. 5-0 over Radian in an Ibuki ditto… Le had been talking MAD shit prior to that match… like… ALOT… and to go out like THAT? Yeah. I told you Le… Jesse is no joke with the ninja girl. Your Bison is beast, and deserves respect. But your Ibuki is garbage. Sorry.

First of all I like to say good games to Jessie. I believe that he himself is a good player but still believes his ibuki needs more work. After replaying the matchup in my head all I remember was allot decent baiting and allot of the Chachi patent throw setups. Either way good shit and it kinda inspired me to relearn my basics and Ibuki as well.
These tier listings should likely be taken with more salt than a marvel tourament produces. I scrolled down to see the tiers from the month before, and LOL its sagat all by himself. Now…what exactly changed since then? Though i do agree that the rise of honda/chun/boxer/guile sounds right. Yay for charge characters!
And axiom- id love to be able to come to the tournament, iv asked about everyone i can to try to garner some interest. I’d but the chances right now at 25%, but we’ll see, i really enjoyed my stay last time( <3 lee for getting me home!!! ) and can honestly say you guys have surpassed our hype level (by alot lately… ) and now we don’t even have monthly tournies :/. Tier list doesnt look too bad to me. Cammy owns Gouken 7-3? Can’t say I have ever even seen the match up let alone thought Cammy would own him. I kind of figured his counter would help stop some dive kicks :wtf:

Thanks to JSpot (I think it was you, if not I’m sorry!) for the Vega experience. I didn’t know Blanka had such an advantage over him, he’s just a character I had a lot of trouble with.
Gotta work on beating the godlike Cammys we have around here. Not much I can do except hold down back. Also, I feel like my execution is getting a little better. Still gotta work on Sagat and shoto characters though. I’m one of those people that can’t just pick up a character and start playing, I need to go into training mode and hammer it out a bit. I couldn’t even pick up Ken naturally, as bad as that may sound.
