@chris - yea the FFA sticks are pretty terrible, for tekken/SF/ other tournies they do allow you to use your own stick though.

Yeah, I really miss the huge collection of oldschool games, I don’t think I could even find a pac-man. There was Q-Bert, Missile Command, Joust, but no Pac-Man or Donkey Kong D: Also, no more [media=youtube]LiVYwZFj9sI&feature=related"[/media], which is the biggest tragedy imo.
Despite these problems, it was still really cool to go to an arcade and find random people playing fighting games, and see if you can beat a complete stranger in a lag free environment. I haven’t experienced that for at least 5 years around when Tekken 5 came out.

Alright fellas, those of you who play the games, your votes are needed in the tournament thread. So far we have 4 for GG, 3 for Melty Blood, and 2 for BBCS. Keep in mind, CS will be added to the roster next month regardless of vote. Go vote guys, so I can add one of these fine games to the roster.
I need some tips for developing my execution. It seems like it isn’t getting better at all. I’m not sure if I should be running drills in training mode or what. I screw up things all the time. For example I’ll get rainbow roll instead of vertical roll or whiff a super or something like that. I feel this is the biggest detriment to my game so any help would be appreciated.
So my three friends and I are starting to get into the SSIV scene and i finally found this thread! Were all ex-smash players, and i was into tourney level play :rock: Anyway, what times do you guys meet up to do round robins? Are there friendlies too? and most importantly, how many TV’s are there?

Usually 9 for the round robins. We have at least 2 set ups going can get up to 4.

Im pretty sure we can manage a setup if we were to come, sounds promising. Im assuming 9 in the morning? Is there another meeting for casuals and the like before the end of summer?
Oh 9 pm for the round robin and the date will be posted up so just stay tuned. Casuals are every week tuesday and friday. If you aren’t sure just come here and they will mostly be posted up. We also have a tournament on the 31st if you’re willing to make it out.
Nope, Friday night…hook up stars at 7pm and usually goes until early the next morning.
