It’s enabled for head-to-head action via Xbox Live. As for it being PLAYABLE, well, that’s usually another story. I’ve had good connections with Xbox Live friends from LA and New York, but a lot of times I felt like I was playing GG 200 feet underwater.

I was out of town this last weekend. I have Armored Core 4, T5:DR, MKII, Madden 07, and Resistance: Fall of Man. I will be picking up Ninja Gaiden. Can’t wait for the online addition of DR either.

Just got back from indy, omg so much fun. Drove there and back in the same day and had a great fucking time. I used to think it was nastalgia that made me look back on our old tournys with such fond memories, but nah. This one blew the rest away. Console so there was absolutely no “gear whining” as you guys like to call it.
The skill level varied greatly but everyone was having a good time, and then after the tourny it was money match time. Had to go make that paper yah feelz me.
Would any of you be interested in traveling to STL for a day for a console tourny? Im addicted to tournys again and i might as well throw one here while i wait to get my licsense back.
I hope there arnt some lame exuses to not come, im telling you guys it’ll be great. If you guys are down let me know what games you want and ill make it happen, its on KC/St. Joe/Columbia/and hopefully alot of the random illinois people i met at the tourny.
If everyone could send a couple people or more we could be looking at a nice 16 man plus bracket. Its been a while and i think im gonna revive the SMSC(show me state championships), who of you will vye for the title. Send everyone you got at us, you guys could help revive SF in missouri or help to let it die.

Wondering if any of you would be interested in a console tourny in St. Louis. I have a nice venue ready and now im just trying to get a show of heads so to speak. From stl alone we should have about 10 in each game, about 25 in tekken. Im thinking of holding the tourny in early december or january.

I can also house, likely up to like 15-20. Ask anyone whos stayed with me(ex Mycha Leonhart comes to my mind from cleveland), the hospitality is that of a **** four star hotel. So no paying for room. Only expenses will be tourny entry, gas, and food that isnt breakfast(as long as you stay with me, we be eating good in the morning before the tourny.)

Theres always a problem with you guys though, especialy with sticks.
Console tournys have become the standard, the nationals are on console, KC needs to get with the times. You can sit double chaired, not many people seemed to have problems. If you seriously let it being console get in the way of attending the MWC thats pretty sad. You have plenty of time to practice, AND PRACTICE ON WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY ON. It puts everyone at an advantage and in there comfort zone, at least give this one a try, id be worth it just to come out and play again. Its been a LONG time since west missouri played anyone from stl or columbia…dont wimp out man. 
You really need to clarify your geographical locations man.
St Joseph could be considered Western Mo, but LS and I are in Mother Fucking Kansas man!!!
Also worth noting you make no mention of fierce comp for MvC2 which is our main game.

We have NEVER EVER EVER played a tournament or any sort of seriousness on a console for MvC2. When things go console only we stop playing. It’s really that simple. I don’t care what stick you get, how perfect it is, how you stabilize it, how high a definition or large the TV is, it simply is not the same experience.
This is a PERSONAL PREFERENCE. No amount of arguing this with us will EVER change this any more than someone telling me “Chinese food is good” will change my opinion of that.
And to be perfectly clear, this applies to MvC2 ONLY and for Chaz, Myself, and (a guy you all don’t know Chris).
As for other games my only other game is Gear. And I don’t even remotely consider myself good enough in that game to enter even a scrub tournament. It’s a fun-only game.
Rex- just let me know in a month in advance if you’re going to set it up. I’ll play on whatever, as long as everyone’s cool. I kinda thought about setting up a tourney at the hotel formerly known as Adams Mark on our side of things (I can’t bring myself to call it Clarion, it sounds so generic now), but I don’t think they would let me wheel Marvel cabs into the meeting rooms there.

My roommate got a Wii from his girlfriend, I’m kinda interested in Wii Bowling and Tennis, if only because that would be the only games everyone would want to play.
