Drew, MvC2 at Powerplay any time today? Can you do it? Or anyone else if they can.
Ok, so check this out. Drew and I went to Powerplay Saturday and guess what we found out when we got there? The MvC2 cab has a broken monitor. When I got there, I figured it was broken, but I thought I would try plugging it in just to make sure. Nothing happened. Therefore, I asked the tech and he told me about the monitor. This sucks.
Drew, I have your PS2 pad. I found it and was wondering who it belonged to. If it’s just a standard black Sony DS2, then I have it. Unfortunately, I won’t be back in KS for a while (like a month or two) to return it, but I’ll keep it in tip-top till then.

Since I’ve been back in PA, bored, with too much time on my hands, I’ve been playing a ton of 3S. Trying to get the fundamentals polished up a bit, just playing the computer, and it’s been going well. I’m having a bit of a rough time getting Kara throwing down pat, especially since I’m a thumbs player. (I can’t switch to fingers, it’s just not happening) Negative edging is pretty nifty too. Combo timing in this game is pretty strict too. I think once I get to play some more against humans who have real tournament experience, I’ll really get going. I’ve never actually sat down with anyone good at that game until playing Drew. (Barring the two times I entered tournaments just for giggles and got deuced)
Denjin Ryu is probably going to be my main, Ryu is just too pimp, and he’s been my SF main since '91. I’d like to learn Elena too after a while.
I wish I had Guilty Gear here, but I forgot it in KS.

Drew, Josh, whoever else, if you guys are looking for new people to game with, or are at all interested in the Tekken scene, I’m sure our guys would be receptive to getting a hookup going. I know the local heads who don’t post on TZ, but, in case you’re interested, Here’s the link to our thread on TZ.
