You knew you were going to be ok then. Pretty funny when I got under your AHVB by a hair and got you with my AHVB. Way too much Cable. 99% of the time you had Cable in your team, lol. Btw, which team was it that you said no one else played that had Doom in it?
I don’t think he appreciated the way I kept mashing AHVB every time he tried calling out an assist or using projectiles. That’s alright, he’d probably school us both in DDR. If I recall correctly, that’s the same guy that busts out S-grades consistently on the Pump It Up machine before passing out.
As for playing Cable all time, that’s the only thing I had going for me against your style of play. Any rush down attempt resulted in eating either a Commando assist, Sent Force, or AHVB. I was getting frustrated for a bit, so I put Cable on point and decided to out shoot your ass. 
The team I was talking about was that Sent/Strider/Doom team you were playing. It’s still an OK team, but only a handful of players can use it effectively against the hordes of Mag players out there.

Hey Cable Just realized were in a comic together (and not to sound like a nerd though I am I have all of them) So where around do you guys live?
I live in Overland Park. About 10-15 minutes away from where you live. I’m ready for some MvC2 tonight at Powerplay, oh yeah.
Korporate: I live in Lee’s Summit, but will drive all over the city for some decent comp. You should come up to Powerplay tonight (off of Shawnee Mission Parkway, turn west from I-35 North) and try your hand at some Marvel.

I haven’t played Marvel in a good long while and haven’t been to power play since it had GG. And When I did play Marvel I sucked (BAD!) but Ill see what I can unfortunately a light pole claimed my truck. So yeah but I maybe get a ride so what time?

This is going to sound very VERY ass-hole-ish. And I apologize in advance…
But some things need to be made clear here. Over the last several pages of this thread it would appear that Cable and Chachi are the only serious players of games in KC. And based on the last few exchanges it sounds like they know how to play some Marvel at a fairly decent level. Going on about AHVBs and Team Scrub and people picking Storm then getting owned because they picked Jin and all that.
I’m sorry, but it’s time for a Kansas City Reality Check. While Chachi and Cable may be cool people, neither of them is any good at MvC2… at all. This is not a flame but a matter of fact.
There are only four and a half people in KC who actually play this game with any level of skill at all (and no, none of us are on the national JWong, Soo, et al level). Those people are myself, Chaz, Tre, Chris, and the half is Tommy (cause he be fucking up). Only three of us actually play constantly Chaz, me, and Chris. Tre hasn’t been down to play because the sticks have been fucked up and I’ve yet to report a good working situation. As of Saturday February 17th both sticks were still NOT in an acceptable condition. We got the 2nd player side fixed and it is acceptable. The 1st player side still needs a new stick, they have a Super Stick in there instead of a Competition stick and it is not hitting the corners like it should and making blocking insanely difficult. One of the non-tech techs is actually kinda cool and said he was going to try to either get the Jackass real tech to fix the shit or he was going to find the right stick and put one in there and try to make sure it is actually working. (We’ll see how this goes.)
