Cause, my post was more based in the idea that no one there played it anymore. I’m not insinuating that we or I have been better than STL forever, this is clearly not true, however if STL had stopped playing a few years ago, then I’d be willing to say that I’m probably not going to lose a lot there, because I never stopped playing. And that old Magneto, Storm, Cable, Sentinel shit from years ago wouldn’t hold up now.
So, let’s just clarify, do you guys still play? I’d be down for some matchups, I’ve been wanting some good out of town comp for a while now… if you guys can provide that GREAT! If not then yes, EASY money. :tup:
We stopped playing for about two years or so, but just recently, me, Rex, player, and aks started playing weekly again. Dru randomly shows up sometimes, but I don’t think he takes the game too seriously.
If you guys are down, let’s do this. I’ll talk to my homies and see how much they wanna put up.
P.S.: Yes, we still use the same old busted Mag/Storm/Sent/Cable stuff.

Makes me almost consider the notion of having a Christmas tourney. Would be kind of hard to find a place that has a Marvel cab and space for a bunch of TVs/consoles for the other games…

I’ve played the Seattle crew before, and they’re definitely way better, so I’m not interested in playing any Seattle heads for money. Let’s keep this strictly KC vs. STL.
This grudge match sorta started when St. Louis beat KC when I was still living in KC. I haven’t lived in Seattle that long =P Most of St. Louis players have beaten me before last time they came to KC.
I definitely see what you are saying in that regards, but understand this. Adrian and I are the only KC MvC2 players. Although, we definitely could match you all on money for however many of you all are willing to pay the priviledge of getting pulped. :badboy:

Sounds boring, that means I don’t get to play for KC. I remember Allen from St. Louis being decent back then, but that’s about it. What teams do St. Louis people play now days anyways? If you guys don’t play Blackheart like Adrian’s, it’ll be easy =)

Well, if you (Trance_Emotion) are included on Team KC, I’m only willing to put up like $20 or $30, because you’re such an unknown variable being thrown in there. For all we know, you might be almost as good as Row or JMar.
I think team STL would prolly be me, Rex, Allen, and Glen. Maybe Dru too, but he doesn’t play much these days. If we’re doing round robin (which I’d like to do), then it doesn’t matter if the teams are even or not. There’s really no advantage to having more players on a team, because the same number of matches will be played on both sides. (For example, at the first USA vs. Japan ST tourney, it was a 5-on-4. The Japanese had 5 players; US had only 4 players.)
Haha, don’t worry NKI, Row and JMar rapes me for free. I’m no where near their level. I’ve placed either 5th or 7th everytime in tournaments up here =P But like you said, you’ll be out of the country around Christmas and that’s the only time I’ll be there.
