Yo I was playing 7 last night and really the only gen play i’ve seen so far, besides johnny. Well when I went in the air most of the times he did that multi air kick shit with gen. I was tryin to get out of it but it seems like it’s immortal or somethin. Can someone tell me how to counter that shit. I’ll record the matches next time when I play 7 again to show you what I mean. Oh p.s. anyone up to play me some matches later on around 3-5 west coast time.

Young Ic3, counterable or not, if you have to play someone who does that (no, i’m never specifically said Quinton since his play style seemed to have changed a bit) constantly regardless of whether or not the move gets countered, is boring to play with.
If you’ve had times on kaillera where you play someone who does the same crap over and over (regardless of the move’s effectiveness), and never thought that’s boring, you’re shitting me big time.
I’d rather not give away details on how to counter my fav char, but as for Gen’s KKK style double kick, if you block that kick in midair when you’ve jumped BEFORE gen, the landing timing for both your characters would be same time or with little frame advantage on either side (changes depending on the height the kick was blocked). After landing, its pretty much mind game.
If Gen was already in the air, and you jump up later and blocks, Gen have a frame advantage and can hit you in the air with ground normals (This also depend on the height relationship). When this happens, it is possible for Gen to combo into his lvl3 grab sc, since you get normal hit off of Gen’s ground move.
As for air-to-air, Gen’s double kick have strong horizontal hit, but weak vertical hit, so you can counter with moves that either hit toward the bottom, or hit up. (Ken’s j.lk, for example. This works well if you’re very close to Gen, either that or just use air throw)

Well just played hella matches with gutts and I have to admit he’s good. At first it was casual but then he started ownin me wit ken and as well as wit chun. I recorded the matches if yall want to take a look. They end at when my sodom vs his chun lee part 2 happens, we lost connection which sucks for that match. Since wit this SRK rep shit though I can’t post them up on srk. Don’t worry though you can dl them via yousendit, but yall only have one week.

The executions on Jeni or Juni, whatever her name is, I think is pretty sloppy if you look at the playback with mame instead of kaillera. ie) multiple whiff jab/short, multiple whiff throws, of course, they don’t show up on the real replay because the first of those actually connected making the other inputs invisible.
Yeah I just started usin her I normally use cammy but I use to play wit juli alot. I forgot the code to activate her but when I found out recently I started usin her again. Your right though her executions weren’t that good. I need to study her more to get better combos and executions. See most of the time when I used her or cammy, if the guy blocked on their super I would just use it as an attempt for a throw setup. What was givin me problems though was his chun lee’s crouching shit I mean he got me in a little trap wit that stuff. I barly was able to get out of that shit sometimes.
