Note that old Mame replays are not compatible with those new Mames :sad: .
If your processor isn’t top tier and you have the hardware for, TV out/in is easy but a bit more time consuming ( and stuff gets interlaced ).

An inp file is not a video file…it only contains controller/keyboard/stick inputs, and mame reads these and “replays” the game with the inputs already known. To create a video from an inp filel, you will need a program like Camtasia, which records a portion of the screen. Record the input recordings using camtasia, and convert it to some video format.

Great to see inputs getting posted, its mystery to me why they never really became popuar, esp before cheap webspace and broadband. They’ve been around since the days of Callus in 98…
Most people don’t know about them.
Holding LEFT SHIFT and LEFT CTRL as you start a game isn’t really something anyone would figure out on their own.
OT: Does anyone know where I can get the SFA3 cheats that allow P2 to have inf amount of life for WinKawaks I have some cheats allready but they are all for P1 =(

For future reference, since there are more and more inputs it would be helpful if people included the name of the game the replays are for in the file. Just something so just looking at the file you can see what game it’s for.
And I play RoTD, just never had anyone to play with.
Though it hasn’t helped that RoTD apparently doesn’t like to work in MAME for me. (I only ever played it in kawaks.)
Maybe me and you can do some BR matches sometime. I’ll turn off autofire this time.
